Howdy Y`all, I just finished up several odd hours ago giving my eGo-T Atomizer a cleaning.
I found a youtube video where a gentleman explains how to clean out this type of Atomizer using Baking Soda and White Vinegar. The method worked awesome because I got out a lot of gunk and crap from the bottom of the joyetech Atomizer. After the Vinegar and Baking Soda I rinsed it out several, hundred - just joking, times with Tap Water.
Then to dry the unit I placed the top half of the Atomizer between two steel bars going across a room fan. This was in the garage with the temperature hovering around 100F degrees.
Since this is the eGo-T Atomizer I imagine it will take longer to dry out the middle bit since it is so hard to get too.
After several hours I figured I was ready to go. How wrong I was!
If the inside of the eGo-T Atomizer is clean and dry, assuming there is no cartridge installed or whatever, are you suppose to hear the COIL(S) fizzling/sizzling still? Because when I put the newely cleaned version on without anything on top I cannot hear the COIL working. Is this typical?
Should I wait a good 12 hours before trying again? I'm kind of freaked out at the moment because I don't know if the the Atomizer is messed up. I followed the cleaning directions to a T.
How long do you guys wait before starting up a newly cleaned out Atomizer?
I tried drying the Atty using the Batt to hear the elements.
Any help would be greatly appreciate.
Bon Voyage
