Hi All of you Vaper's out there!!! :)

I wanted to start off my new registration by sharing some money saving information. After all we can all use some good FREE information on how to SAVE $$$ on those costly disposable Carto's. I use the new MK-II with my SVR mod. This is basically a 510 mod. like the E-GO only it changes voltage as needed and uses 2 batteries. Anyway, cleaning the MK-II is the same for cleaning any Boge 510 Carto (low or High Ohm.) Here is what I put together for ya'all:

[h=1]CLEANING YOUR CARTO EFFECTIVELY[/h][h=1]“Dedicated to MK-II the SVR Chrome Carto’s.”[/h]
Cleaning any type of filler/coil carto back to like-new condition:

*Things you will need: Hydrogen Peroxide, plastic or glass cup, paper plates, 30-60ml. syringe with 18g. needle (or improvise if you can't get needle). Any Tack Shop (For horses) will have larger syringes & needles! A stove to bake with. Multi-meter for testing Ohms.

1. Soak carto's in a cup of Hydrogen Peroxide for a period of 24 Hours. Swirling around helps every so often. (Longer will not ever hurt..) Ensure the carto is completely covered with the solution. It will not hurt sticker wrapped carto’s. (If your lucky enough to own a sonic jewelry cleaner I believe this would work more effectively and faster!) I’m not that lucky yet…saving up!

2. Set out cloth, and remove each carto one by one. Blow through bottom of carto, or use low pressure air (High pressure will destroy interior). Helps removes excess fluid and debris.

3. Take a simple multi- meter to test carto to ensure you have between *1.5-4 ohms at this point. If not. there may be an underlying problem with the carto (to many to go into) Toss it especially if shorted out. You can ruin some vapor mods using a shorted carto, and process of cleaning will not work anyway. *Ohms maybe a bit higher due to moisture and debris at this time

4. Take a 30ml to 60ml syringe with an 18g. Needle for best results and flush through bottom center hole of each carto (Do not poke the coils), and remove debris loosened by Peroxide soak. Repeat at least 4 times with the left over Peroxide you soaked with...or new if you have plenty? With MK-II you can flush through top hole as well for top coil cleaning and best results.

5. Repeat steps 2 & 3 to both remove excess fluid, and to retest your carto’s to continue.

6. Pre-heat your oven to 150 deg. (NO HOTTER! You risk damaging rubber O-rings that keep carto from shorting. Place your carto's on a paper plate..or 2 for sturdy support during baking.

7. Bake your carto's to dry the interior fastest...air drying could take up to a week depending on humidity in your town. I have found 2 hours is enough to dry them by baking. You may have to adjust drying/baking time depending on the atmospheric conditions in your area however.

8. Remove and let sit until able to handle without burning yourself or damaging soft O-ring.
Do not refrigerate, or freeze due to added humidity issues. Air dry, and be patient (By this time it's worth it! Trust me : )

9. You should now have a nice clean usable carto. Filler should appear white, and have no real odor of old vape juice left over, flavor, or burned taste if you draw through it by mouth.

10. Lastly please test with multi- meter again to ensure 1.5-3 Ohms/no shorts! (Toss any that do not pass this test.) Now add your vape juice, and allow 5 min. to soak into wick thoroughly.
(Very Important), and do not dry test as you will add a burned flavor to a clean carto....wasting all your efforts up to now....ENJOY & BE GREEN. Thanks to Akston Hughes for the MK-II carto!
