Best way to clean: Cartos, Visons, Atty's.....

Here is what I've done so far and worked. Is this ok and will this aid in sustainability? :

Vision ego cartos (short wick):dumped out remaining liquid, ran water over wicks (with syringe) down the side...NOT down into the hole/tube in the middle (yeah, whatever it's all called)..dumped out..repeat x 4-5 times.carefully cleaned the edges of the top/screw/threads with a q-tip and a bit of rubbing alcohol. quick dry burn a couple times...don't really feel comfortable doing this so i don't do it every time i clean it

E2 510 Cartos (with ceramic inside) blow out remaining liquid out both sides (giggles)..then boil for 15 min, strain, repeat a few times, and blow out water through both sides...let dry over night.

Here is what I'm trying right now and am scared about:
Letting my attys (not all of them) and my cartos with polyfill soak in gin for 30 min. Then I plan on running very, hot water through atty's, blowing them out and blow drying them...and then prob. letting them dry even more for another hour or so. With the cartos...I'm kinda clueless. I feel like the polyfill might melt if I boil them, but if I just run water through them I feel like i won't get out all the previous flavor.

BTW: I don't like the answers that read something like "just toss 'em and get new ones" because I like my 3 R's and I want to save money.

Any other suggestions? I hear dry burns are not good and are risky. I've watched youtube videos where people used baking soda and vinegar, but the atty's were de-bridged. I don't know the benefits of de-bridging and I'm not sure even if I liked them I would attempt it because I would prob. f it up. I would think vinegar might not be such a good idea, but maybe the baking soda would help get rid of any bad taste.

OH! and can someone please tell me why my 1.7 XL revives are not working on my new kgo? THey taste horrible and get extremely hot waaaay to fast.http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?pag..._color_plus.tpl&product_id=259&category_id=21 Someone suggested these and even the site I got them from says they are awesome for the kgo. Maybe I didn't get it wet enough? (giggles, again)

Cartos: boil them for 15 minutes, then take an oral syringe from Walmart (the actual syringe one, not the bottle dropper one) and put it in there (they are like 2 bucks) and although it's awkward it creates a massive pressure so just run the hottest water you got out of the tap and (i use a pan to do this) do like 50 strokes with the syringe and change the water after 25. Then put them in the oven on 225 for 15 mins, let cool for a few, and do another 15 and you can use them instantly. So far mine have lasted this treatment for over 3 months of constant use.

For the Stardust: (which I find more and more is a piece of crap) just take and add hot tap water to it and then shake it like a thermometer a few times. Don't be afraid to dry burn them. The coil is thick - it won't snap, and the wick is inflammable ceramic silica or whatever. Also the silicone tip on the atomizer should be capable of taking high temps because after all they sell silicone baking mats. Once you got it rinsed good, shake it empty as hard as you can because water can get stuck at the bottom in the cracks. Now hook it up and burn it for counts of 6-10 and then blow on it in between bursts to help cool it. After about 10 it'll start to smoke good. This is the water coming out of your wick. Keep going. If you look inside you can see the red glow. Once it starts to glow red you are doing work and getting the crud off your coil. Keep it red for a few seconds per burst and go for about 5 bursts once you go red. Now take a hair dryer and covering up half the top of the stardusts with the blower (it needs a route for escape) you will create a hot air wind tunnel. Spin it around every 10 seconds or so and you'll find the thing is bone dry and ready to vape in under 5 mins. I have also been doing this for a couple months or so and they are all fine. You'll notice the wicks are white again and ready to go. Wait for it to cool first because heat can mess up certain juices. Once you re-add your juice make sure to fill it up to the top of the wicks and then wait at least 15 mins for it to wick before you vape it because if you don't it will taste burned and bad. Boom. 20 minute stardusts.

IMO the Vision Vivi Nova is the tank of the future though. They look ugly but check out some reviews on them because you can rebuild them and get them with metal tanks so they will last forever.

Cool Thanks! I like the idea or using the large syringe and drying in the oven. I'm still afraid to dry burn and boil the cartos with filler.

Why don't you like the stardust? I don't think mine is the actual stardust, but like it. I really like these e2 cartos a lot more, but I'd like a stronger hit.
