Here is what I've done so far and worked. Is this ok and will this aid in sustainability? :
Vision ego cartos (short wick):dumped out remaining liquid, ran water over wicks (with syringe) down the side...NOT down into the hole/tube in the middle (yeah, whatever it's all called)..dumped out..repeat x 4-5 times.carefully cleaned the edges of the top/screw/threads with a q-tip and a bit of rubbing alcohol. quick dry burn a couple times...don't really feel comfortable doing this so i don't do it every time i clean it
E2 510 Cartos (with ceramic inside) blow out remaining liquid out both sides (giggles)..then boil for 15 min, strain, repeat a few times, and blow out water through both sides...let dry over night.
Here is what I'm trying right now and am scared about:
Letting my attys (not all of them) and my cartos with polyfill soak in gin for 30 min. Then I plan on running very, hot water through atty's, blowing them out and blow drying them...and then prob. letting them dry even more for another hour or so. With the cartos...I'm kinda clueless. I feel like the polyfill might melt if I boil them, but if I just run water through them I feel like i won't get out all the previous flavor.
BTW: I don't like the answers that read something like "just toss 'em and get new ones" because I like my 3 R's and I want to save money.
Any other suggestions? I hear dry burns are not good and are risky. I've watched youtube videos where people used baking soda and vinegar, but the atty's were de-bridged. I don't know the benefits of de-bridging and I'm not sure even if I liked them I would attempt it because I would prob. f it up. I would think vinegar might not be such a good idea, but maybe the baking soda would help get rid of any bad taste.
OH! and can someone please tell me why my 1.7 XL revives are not working on my new kgo? THey taste horrible and get extremely hot waaaay to fast.http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?pag..._color_plus.tpl&product_id=259&category_id=21 Someone suggested these and even the site I got them from says they are awesome for the kgo. Maybe I didn't get it wet enough? (giggles, again)
