Hey there hillbilly20,
do not know if this will help, but found it on this forum http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tanks/293862-tank-carto-cleaning.html
I just boil water, and stir my EVOD BCC coils in the water, shake, let them dry, do a quick no juice burn, fill and go.

I use the steamer tool on my Espresso maker. Some soak in water. I used a turkey baster to force water through, then would force air through. I like the steaming method best. I use distilled water,as here our water is very hard. I have heard of some people soaking them in ever clear or vodka,to me that is a good waste of vodka, unless its Smirnoff. I soak the rest of my tank in distilled water, heated in the microwave.

If I want to change a flavor I have in the carto part of my carto tank, I a.just add a new flavor that is similar (have found some good combos that way) b. or if it's a strong flavor, unflavored will help that a bit.

The reality is that I usually vape the same juice for the life of a carto, but occasionally I will run out of that juice before the carto dies. And I just add it to the tank, not the carto. It will all blend eventually

Have fun when that happens when you are vaping banana - that's a hard one to find similar flavors to.

ETA: As for actually cleaning the tank, I do so when I change out the carto. Just take it apart and rinse. If it's a strong flavor juice, soak in alcohol (clear) for a few and rinse.

I get a huge cup or microwave safe bowl. Fill it, put it in the microwave until boiling. Drop the cartos in it, and set it somewhere out of my kids reach. Forget about it for an hour or so. Drain it all out then repeat the process. Set them some where to dry. Sometimes it works, and sometimes the cartomizers are just done. I've tried booze; and boiling on the stove. Didn't have much luck with those methods.
**Btw** Don't put metal in the microwave. I know y'all probably know better. It's called C.Y.A. ;)
