How to clean primer off an Atty? And other questions

So I am getting ready to take the plunge into the eGo club. But I have some final questions:

1. How do you clean the primer off an atomizer? I hear alot of talk about doing it, but I don't know how. How do you even clean it in general?

2. I know that Menthol flavor is an eternal seach for all members, but where is a good place to start for a awesome menthol juice with a good throat hit? I have heard that strictlyejuice has a good menthol and to check out Halo Menthol Ice as well as Cool Rush by Liquid Express.

1. make sure cart and battery are NOT attached to atty.
Put mouth over one end of atty (usually cart side is easiest), put paper towel over (or cupping) other end of atty (battery thread side) - blow blow like you're blowing up a balloon. Check paper towel for moisture, blow again until no mositure (aka primer) is seen on the towel.
Prime atty bridge with a drop of ejuice of your choice (or plain PG or VG it doesnt matter) re-attach cart with juiced up filler (or just drip if you chose to direct drip so re-attach empty cart) and vape.

2. can't help you with this one - too subjective lol Also Im not a fan of menthol and have no clue

Well, despite what most people say, oldtechno is NOT in favor of washing out the atomizer. I would just put the whole thing together and vap it until you evaporate all of the primer...just an opinion.

Menthol? I've had only limited experience with that-- I got it from cloud9--. Make sure, what ever atomizer you use is dedicated just to menthol...the menthol seems to permanently alter it's taste.

I agree that #2 is also subjective. Personally, I have liked "Cool Rush" from LiquidXPress. I would have never actually tried it, but it is one of the few flavors that comes pre-loaded in the new 510 cartomizers.

I haven't tried to refill one with other liquid yet. Hopefully the menthol taste hasn't branded the carto.

I personally love the Cash's True Menthol and Menthol Ice from Puresmoker.com. I used them before I went to 6v and the throat hit was almost devastating from both on my tornado at 3.7v. They seem to be slightly pricier then most but I love the juices. This is a matter of personal taste-buds, but they have my business for juices

What CaptJay says on the primer. Nothing more is needed these days. The primer doesn't seem as nasty as it used to be. You could try vaping without the blowing out just to see if it's ok. The primer won't hurt you.

As for menthol - straight menthol with no tobacco flavor, Nhaler's 'super menthol' and with tobacco flavor - try their 'nuport'. You can get two 6ml samplers cheap:

Halo Menthol Ice is a smooth mild menthol with a hint of vanilla. Excellent, though it could stand a bit more menthol.

Menthol from strictlyejuice is clean & stronger in menthol than Halo Ice.

Liquid Express Cool Rush is supposed to be more like a cig. It is commonly said none are like a cig. I have not tried it as I have already had enough tobacco taste & why bother w/ a "copy".

I LOVE the "Smilin Special Menthol Nobacco Juice" from vapor4life.com. It's very complex with a hint of mint that sort of bites you in the end. It gives you the creamy menthol hit you get from analog menthols and then leaves you with a refreshing, "I just brushed my teeth" feeling.
