hello all, i have this ecig that i purchased from deal extreme. i was wondering how can i clean this atomizer? is it even possible to clean? all the other threads i see on cleaning are different types. i've seen videos where they blow on one end and out the other to get all the crap out, but for some reason i feel like thats not technically possible with the one i have... all these suggestions about boiling water and what not, thats not possible with this atomiser right? or is this the kind people are talking about. i feel like it would break it if i put it in water, would i not?

also another question.. i have my cartridges labeled for each different juice, how do i make it so when i put on another cartridge, i don't have to smoke it for so long until the full flavor comes through and ... overpowers the previous juice i tried in it.

i apologize for the crap photo quality. atomizer.jpg

Buy yourself a $30 ultra sonic jewelry cleaner. That's the tried and true way to get them gunk free. Trust me, it works for both atty's and cartomizers. Distilled water and the cleaner.

For cartomizers:

Get some water almost to boiling.
Sling out as much juice out of the cartomizer that you can get out. Do it into a sink.
Rinse under hot water and sling again. Do this a couple times.
Load cartomizers into the jewelry cleaner and add the hot water.
Cycle the jewelry cleaner 4-5 times (3 minutes each).
Drain off the water and refill.
Cycle 2 more times.
Drain water and carefully remove the cartomizers.
Rinse under hot water and sling them again to get as much water out as possible.
Now put them into a food dehydrator and set on high. My dehydrator has a top fan to circulate the air.
Leave for 12 hours.
Refill and vape.
**If you have long cartomizers or jumbo's, drying time will vary.

For atomizers:

Same as above except cycle the cleaner for 5 cycles (3 minutes per cycle).
Remove and rinse in hot water.
Let dry overnight.

Atomizers are easier to do than cartomizers. Very simple and quick. You'll be surprised at the gunk that will be left in the bottom of the jewelry cleaner.

The atty's in the pic look like 306's. For my 510's and 306's when I change flavors, I just run them under some hot water, blow them out, dry off the thread end and reuse. The 510's I blow out from the mouthpiece end, the 306's I blow out from the thread end.

For deeper cleaning, I use an ultrasonic cleaner with hot water and vinegar. Rinse in plain water.

I like to clean my atomizer with these steps. (about once a week, or when it tastes like it needs it)
1: blow it out
2: do a 10 sec dry burn, wait 30 sec, and do 1 more dry burn
3: fill a shot glass with water and microwave it till it boils
4: drop in the atomizer and soak for 5-10min
5: plug a syrenge into the cart size, and draw in and out water for about a minute. rinse with clean warm water
6: blow out the atomizer
7: stick it in the end of a hairdryer on low for 5 min

then drip 2 drops of juice into the atomizer before connecting a clean cart

One time i messed up on this...Instead of boiling before putting the atty, i threw the atty in the water and placed the glass in the microwave...Guess what...Atty still was working (my luck)
NEVER PUT METAL INSIDE THE MICROWAVE
