Now that I have your attention :glare: Its time to clean the battery contact inside your Pro Vari but you don't have or ran out of the long wooden Q-Tips that Pro Vari sells on their site. Just pull out the ink cartridge on a big pen cut a regular Q-Tip in half and insert it into the opening with a little twist to snug it up. Now just add a drop of alcohol and clean away.

You can also use the cap to clean off the center post as the plastic will not scratch it like a paper clip can.

Happy vaping

Great tip. I actually saw that cleaning kit like the day after I ordered my Provari and wondered if I err'd by not buying it. Thanks, I will be sure to try this once it comes time to clean mine.

Although first I have to have a Provari to clean! Arrrg, pulling my hair out waiting for this thing to ship! :p

Hi there!
This sounds good for every APV... just one question: why the Bic pen, is it to put more pressure on the threads while cleaning them?
Thanks for the advice :vapor:

This allows you to clean the battery contact which is inside the tube near the switch and only accessible through the bottom of the battery tube. Great tip, I was just about to order some long q-tips on Amazon, thanks!

Sitting in the same boat waiting for my Provari to ship.....so frustrating! Like a little kid waiting for Christmas!

Hmmmm are you also from CPF :toast: Nyogel is good stuff!!

aye. i was quite the little flashlight hoarder over there, then had a baby and stopped smoking, switched battery operated hobbies lol.

but i knew about nyogel LONG before i ever found CPF. almost every weatherpak electrical connection on a car made in the last 10-15 years has nyogel in it
