I see some people posting that they use water to cut thick juices, and others use PGA, or just some pg. I was mainly wondering about using water. I assume it means DI water, which I have an unlimited supply of at work. Does this actually work without messing up vapor production and TH? I don't have the option to use PGA since I work on a submarine (Navy doesn't allow alcohol underway). I have some really thick VG liquid that I would like to thin down to use in my tanks, and if DI water will work I'd be in heaven.

You can use distilled water. It will only take ~2% or so. PGA would be best to help increase TH, but the distilled shouldn't hurt it too much.

I'm not promoting breaking any maritime laws or Cardinal rules here, but I don't imagine having a 3mL bottle of PGA would be cause for alarm. 3mL would thin enough nicquid for a couple months lol. Maybe ask the Captain's permission. It's not like that small of an amount is gonna get you loaded, and, well, the Cap has a stash in his quarters, most likely.
