Drip is very easy. Just put 2-3 drops in the bridge of your atomizer, letting them fall from the outside without contact, place an empty cartridge (without the filler), and take a few drags. When you get burnt taste, add 2 more drops. Sometimes you need to empty your atomizer blowing out any remaining juice. After that, put 5-6 drops instead of 2-3 drops. That's all.

Dripping is so simple, tector, that I'm tempted toward sarcasm (Step 1: Hold PV in vertical position; Step 2: Align tip of juice bottle directly above hole in drip tip; Step 3: Drip; Step 4: Repeat; etc.)

But seriously, the conventional wisdom is 3 drops. That works for me. There's a number of formulas floating around about when to re-drip (X number of drips = X number of vape draws, or X number of analog draws, etc.) Ignore them. They're all based on variables that may or may not have any relevance to the way you vape or the hardware you're using. Just do it for awhile, and you'll develop an intuitive feel for it. Like riding a bike.

Do get yourself a good drip tip, though. Cheapest ain't necessarily the best. This contoured, stainless steel model is the best: Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.. $16.99 seems like a lot for a hunk of steel with a hole in it, but the mouth on it will get the juice onto the atomizer and keep the unvaporized stuff out of your mouth. And it'll last forever, of course.

Anyone know if all "drips / drops" are the same size. What i mean is if I drip two drops from a big 30ml bottle is that exactly the same amount as two drops from a little 3ml bottle??

Anyone ever tested this ?

Anyway I just converted to mostly dripping this past week. I am happy as poop, I wish I had mastered it sooner. Stick with it a good day of practice and you will be a happy camper.

For reference I have been using a 15ml bottle from liquidXpress for dripping and I start off a dry fresh atty with 3 or 4 drops. The 2 drops at a time gives me 4-5 medium size hits.

That's one of the variables I had in mind. I've never tested it, but to my eye I see what appears a significant difference from one bottle to the next.

Drop size always differ from bottle to bottle. For instance, I've noticed that droppers coming with Totally Wicked juice give, more or less, 5 ml each 120 drops, while little bottles with dropper incorporated from the same supplier give 5 ml each 150 drops. Since I drip, I don't mind drop size because if I need more juice, I add 2 more drops, and so on... The problem with drop size comes when making DIY juices. Counting drops is easier and cleaner than measuring juice volume with a syringe or other liquid meter, so I prefere to do so. I usually don't care about drop size but sometimes I worry about the actual concentration of each component of the resulting liquid.

When you get the LR 306's in, you'll want to use more like 3-4 drops at a time. I usually use 4 drops. 5 drops if I've vaped it a little too dry. I get the best taste from them if they are almost flooded.

+1 on these. I ordered two on Friday and they came in today, way sooner than I expected. It's a really nice piece of hardware that really compliments my standard eGo setup. Glad I wasn't budget constrained and didn't need to buy the lesser ones to save a few pesos. With the great quality and service, I'll be taking a second look at their more expensive mods.

Good to see another dripper amongst us. It really is the best way to get the most out of your juice, IMO. And the 510 or LR510 is the atty to do it with, IMO. :) Glad the LR306 is doing it for you!

If you have flooding problems when you're first learning to drip, I suggest using only 2 drops at a time. When I first started dripping, I was constantly flooding the atty. I started putting in only 2 drops at a time and my flooding problems disappeared. The more I dripped, the more I learned how to judge the state of the atty and drip the appropriate amount to prevent flooding.

I get the best taste from them if they are almost flooded.

I also have found this to be true.

I actually have the same dripping problem. I suck at it. Seems like i normally can do it to get the atty started, but when it comes to re-dripping thats when i am screw up. I also seem to taste the metal taste way way before I think your suppose to. I had the same problem when i used carts/atty combo. I switched to cartos and just got stuck there.

I wish i could drip...seems like the ones who do it...love it. But overall I am very happy with my cartos....they are very good to me!!

From my point of view, cartomizers provides better similarity with burning cigarettes in terms of complexity and availability. Anyway, I prefer dripping because I have to deal and carry only with my Tornado and a bottle of e-liquid. Also, I get certain way to time-control (3-6 drops => 10-15 minutes of vaping), which is an important feature for me.

Verisimilitude with cigarettes was important to me at first, also; cigarette-like PV, auto switch, brown filter-like cart. Two weeks later, I was dumping everything in favor of disassociating myself and my hardware from analogs in every way possible.
