I am not sure if this has been posted here or not, as I am sure I am not the first person to think of this.

I got my Prodigy V2 about 3 weeks ago and have had horrible problems with it misfiring and having to press the switch down very hard to even get it to fire at all.

If you are having this problem,it could be this very simple fix...

Take apart the switch casing and remove the spring.

On the housing you should see 2 connection posts sticking out both ends.

If you look inside you will see that the other ends have been filed down even with the inside ring of the housing. This is where your switch makes contact in order to let the voltage from the batteries pass through.

In my case the plastic housing was actualy a slight bit higher than the the connection posts because they had been filed down to low.

All you need to do is take a pair of regular or needle nose pliars to the posts sticking out on the outside of the housing and rotate them to the oposite side that is not filed down. This will make the stick up slightly higher than the plastic on the inside of the casing and give you a MUCH better connection.

I am extremely surprised at how much more vapor I am getting now.

I just wanted to share this with anyone else who is having the same problem.
