How to fix an air hole that is too big?

Hello everyone. I few months ago someone had a similar situation where the atty had an air hole drilled too wide.

I remember someone had posted that you can use some sort of material to plug the hole, let it harden and then redrill a smaller size air hole. I cant find the thread and hope someone remembered or knows how one can "fix the hole"

Similar to the needle fix-
I overshot on my AGI and used the head from a pop rivet. Filed the "tube" part down to fit very tightly in the hole, knocked the head off and then filed it to fit flush. I was then able to re-drill the hole to the correct size and it works perfectly. Looks a little odd but I actually like it.
