How to get better flavor out of my RDA?

I just picked up a Dark Horse Clone by Tobeco yesterday. I washed all the machine oil out, set it all up using kanthal and organic cotton, and it vapes great. The only problem is I literally get zero flavor AT ALL using it. Could it be that I am using to little cotton? I used to put a crap ton into my IGO-W (drilled airholes for more airflow). The same juices that used to taste so wonderful taste like nothing at all.

I am using dual 7-wrap micro coils with 26g Kanthal reading at 0.41ohms. Just wondering if there is anything I can do to get more flavor out of this bad boy. I have experimented with using different airflow amounts all to no avail. Any feedback is much appreciated!

Thanks,
Tyler

I'm not familiar with that particular RDA. Apparently it has adjustable airflow, and you've tried those options already.

I would experiment with different amounts of wick (its cheap, even if juice isn't). In some RDA's, less is more, if you know what I mean.

I'd also look into something better than organic cotton. I've used cotton bacon, Ko Gen Do (Japanese cotton), and Rayon (cellucotton) ... and all three are much better than plain organic cotton.

The Dark Horse isn't made for flavor since the airflow is so open no matter how you adjust it. What I did was build a single coil and closed off the airflow on one side. Even then, it was still lacking.
Yep. If you want flavor, you need something like an Aeolus, Derringer or Plume Veil. I've also heard really good things about the Freakshow.

I know there are flavor chaser RDA's out there, was just curious if there was anything I could try that might help right now. Thanks for the feedback!!!
I just read a post on reddit which suggested to remove the airflow control ring and flip it.

Can confirm the freakshow is great for flavour, running a single twisted 26g macro in mine at the moment, juicy and vapourlicious ;)

He might be using cotton bacon or KGD since they are organic cotton and alot of people will just call them organic cotton. Besides that whats the difference between CB,KGD and normal OCballs? I use rayon now and dont notice any difference now then when I was using KGD or OC.

Personally I find Organic Cotton balls to be the best wick after boiled. The fibers tighten up and the juice just seems to flow better.
