I see on Youtube, many people gets a vapor that's huge. I get decent vapor, but less than I get from a cigarette. To my knowledge, more VG will cause more vapor, and more PG will cause more throat hit. So does this mean I have to sacrifice throat hit for more vapor?

I guess another way is upping the voltage or using a low resistance head? This equates to more power, since power = V^2/R. But I use the vivi nova with a 2.4 head and an Ego Twist. Occasionally, when the voltage gets high (such as 4.8V), it's easy to get a burnt taste.

So what are some good options, maybe I'm missing something. Thanks

I tend to be a fan of cartos for convenience, and I'm about to try a dual-coil carto (3 ohm, so 1.5 in parallel).

Giving it twice the surface area and twice the expended wattage compared to a 3 ohm single coil, it should produce twice the vapor with no loss of flavor. I'll let you know, they're due Thursday or Friday. :)

I also ordered some lower ohm (2.0) single-coil cartos for vaping on my walking about gear. That's limited to 3.7 volts in one case, a cig-alike in the other.

Stand in front of a mirror while you vape.

I did that when I got my Vision Spinner.

My evaluation was, with a 2.6 ohm single-coil basic carto:
3.3 volt: Flavor weak, vapor cloud small
3.8 volt: Tolerable flavor, vapor cloud was OK
4.3 volt: Excellent flavor, vapor cloud about the same as a cig or a little more
4.8 volt: Burnt flavor, vapor cloud very large

I vape that at 4.3, needless to say.
