I find straight glycerine a little thick, so here's my favorite recipe for flavorless mixing base with glycerine, if going for 0 nicotine.

3 parts glycerine
2 parts gin

Or 4 parts glycerin
1 part gin

It cuts it down, makes it wick a little better.

And the gin doesn't really effect the taste too much.
