So obviously I just got into DIY... I've got a bunch of flavors that I'd like to try and mix, but I don't want half of my juice all flavor (mainly because I only have 18mg nic base.. I should've got higher I know!)
Now, tell me if this is a terrible idea, but this is what I'd like to try and mix:

Cig flavors:
-Real Cig (VZ SC)
-Black Cigar (VZ SC) or maybe Black and Mile?
-Maybe tobacco base absolute (alc and pure) or another tobacco flavor? I've got a whole mess of tobacco flavors from various vendors. Maybe RY4 Double?

Flavors:
-Graham Cracker (Capella)
-Coconut (Capella)
-Almond Oil (LorAnn)

Additions:
-Vape Wizard
-Acetyl Pyrazine
-Cotton Candy (either from WL or LorAnn.. I basically just want the EM.. I have EM crystals, too.. just not mixed yet)

And I was even debating on adding Hangsen RY1 from VZ (or an RY4? Maybe or Vanilla and/or caramel?) and maybe a tobacco flavor (I've got tons..) as well, but I already feel like this is maybe too much?

I'm looking for a nice tobacco flavor leaning toward a black and mild taste (I've got Black and Mile as well) with a nice graham cracker flavor with hints of coconut and almond oil

I was inspired by the Boba Bounty clone thread.. for some reason I've got my heart set on basically tobacco and graham cracker, with hints of coconut/almond oil and maybe vanilla/caramel and the bready/nutty flavor from AP... and I figured Vape Wizard would help if I blended a bunch of tobacco flavors?

I dunno, what are your guys thoughts? I know I should just experiment, but I'm feeling very overwhelmed right now and I think I bought way too many flavors!!

Thanks guys

KISS (Keep It Simple), why don't you mix the Hangsen RY1 one drop per ml first. If you have already done that and you want to add something to it try adding a little Caramel or Vanilla and see what happens. If you add too many flavors at once you won't be able to tell what's going on. I'm having to do this and yes it is very time consuming.

Haha I knew this would be the answer.. I just don't want to wait a month to let a tobacco steep just to add another flavor and wait another week...
P.S. what is one drop per ml in terms of percentage?

How long does RY1 from Hangsen need to steep? I know there is a difference between the ecigexpress and VZ hangsen.. I've got RY1 Hangsen coming from ecigexpress as well..

Looks like 3% for Hangsen RY1

I guess I will try to mix a few different tobaccos alone... not sure if I can accurately mix 1ml of juice, but I'd like to not waste a lot of my VG - just to make enough to taste!

Maybe I will just use 1 drop - I know it's not super accurate but I'll at least get the gist of the flavor

I just go by one drop per ml (my bottle has a drip tip) and in five days it's great. I don't know what the difference is I've only gotten my Hangsen from ecigexpress. If you haven't thought about a Ultrasonic Cleaner maybe you should it has cut my waiting time down dramatically.

Here's a recipe I made that was inspired by the Bobas thread...

5% TFA RY4 Double
5% Seedman's Captain Black
2% TFA Coconut Candy
1% TFA Maple
1% TFA Vanilla Cupcake
1% TFA Smooth
1 drop per 2mL EM
1 drop per 5mL EZ Sweetz
1 drop per 10mL AP

I've never had Boba's Bounty, but this recipe turned out damn tasty. After a week steep, the anise flavor that Seedman's Captain Black has was really apparent. After another two weeks, it had mellowed and transformed into a delectable vape.

Awesome that sounds good.. I'll have to get a maple flavor! I can't believe I didn't get that before. Maybe I'll try something similar with brown sugar flavor.. Looks like a nice recipe though! I'm not a big fan of anise, though, I'll have to replace that!
I've got 3ml Black Cigar and 3ml RY1 steeping now I will try when it's done.. I think I may get a sonic cleaner. Tomorrow night I'll have to make small batches of my other tobaccos to try.. Maybe only 1-2ml.. Although I can still use the 3mls for mixing so we'll see

I suggest mix a small bottle of each flavor you ordered. I mean 5 ml - 10 ml.. 5 ml if you are conservative... go 10 ml if you are the adventurous type. Mix each as an individual flavor and taste as you go. If you think a flavor needs 5% start at 3% and then add if you can't taste it.

Once you have a good single flavor of each and have recorded the amount it took to make each. Please take notes... this will help in the future.

Then mix the flavored juices. Keep records of how much of each flavored juice you add to a clean bottle..

For example something like this

1 ml flavor 1
3 ml flavor 2
.5 ml flavor 3
1 ml flavor 4

You get the idea. I find this fun. I started by mixing vendor juices and found I could mix two or more juices I didn't like to create one I loved. I also thinks this helps you get started. If you create with this method, then no matter how many flavors you add you don't change your percentages... if you mix each single flavor say 80/20 at 12 mg... then no matter what combination you come up with it will be 80/20 12 mg.

If you aren't hung up on exactness.. Try mixing a large batch of flavorless first... say 80/20 12 mg... then add your flavoring for each single flavor small bottle.. this will make your total final mix not quite 80/20 and a little less than 12mg.. since as you add flavoring to each small batch you will dilute the strength of nicotine slightly, but in the long run it may be easier to mix for taste. Then when you have what you like you can mix individual recipes to the exact strength.

I hope this helps

I'm with Proverb31: mix the flavors separately, then experiment mixing those in small amounts. I got tired of trying to work out complex recipes. It's a pain to measure the flavors with any precision in very small amounts, and inevitably I'd end up with something where I thought flavor A was too strong and flavor C was too weak.

I do most of my experiments in my carto tank... fill most of the way with tobacco, add a dash of vanilla and a dash of AP, and maybe a couple of drops of coffee. If I'm going to be out all day, I do the same thing in a 10ml bottle for refills. Sometimes I find a combination that I love, then that becomes an official recipe, and I'll mix up a 60ml bottle of it.

Ah, that makes perfect sense - thanks! I will definitely do it this way. Thanks for the suggestion!

Finally started testing some of my individual flavors and I am extremely pleased so far! I really really like the LorAnn Maple flavor, I can't wait to do more with it! Real Cig was tasty too! It tastes very much like how a fresh pack of cigs smells, I will probably use this as a base of many flavors!
I think my first couple flavors will be maybe hangsen RY1 (also tasty!) + Maple + Brown sugar, maybe real cig + Graham Cracker + gingerbread, probably both of these flavors with a little AP... I wasn't expecting for all these flavors to be as good as they were! I'll have to add more flavor to the gingerbread and graham cracker, they were light but very good. Things just got very exciting for me :)
