How to Hold an e-cig because of the extra weight?

I am finding that with the extra length of my e-cig vs analog (I have the M401 not the 402 or 403 shorter versions), and the heavier weight, I am having to hold it slightly differently... like further down the e-cig than I did with an analog like halfway down in order to balance it - or even holding it differently all together (ie not between my index and middle finger but between my thumb/middle finger on bottom and my index finger on top. I know some guys who hold their analogs like that, but none of my female friends I am afraid if I vape in public with this I will lose my daintiness lol.

All in all though, the M401 was a good choice for feeling 'close' to the real thing over some of the other options. I imagine I will eventually get away from the analog lookalike - actually I REALLY want a Phoenix!!! PINK is my color! But they are out of stock - I can't find them anywhere!

The Phoenix is not solid pink.... it's white with a pink phoenix on the battery, and pink cartridges! It looks really awesome, and I have two favorite animals that have kind of a spiritual meaning to me: Dragonflies and Phoenix. If ANYONE knows where I can get one of these please let me know

I think you'll eventually find your own way to hold it, and to heck with if it's "dainty" or not . For me, I find the way I naturally hold it is thumb on bottom, two fingers on top, rest it between 2nd and 3rd finger. I'm female, btw, and not at all concerned about how feminine or masculine it might look

I generally hold mine with index and middle finger on top, thumb on bottom, and with the end in the palm of my hand ... much as I used to hold cigarettes when out in the rain, to prevent them from getting wet. This is partly because some of mine have end tip LEDs (hiding them) and also because it just feels natural to hold them that way.

I have zero desire for a PV to resemble a cigarette in any way.

I have to agree with lookin2quit, you'll find what works best for you. I don't care anymore whether it looks like I am smoking a real cig or not.

Yep, been on the net since around '93, back in the days of BBS and used services like GEnie which made you pay extra to use during "peak hours". We've definitely come a long way since then!

Ohhhhh BBS - the good old days! I was a SYSOP of my own (1 line) and a COSYSOP on two others (one with 7 lines and one with 3) .... don't know if I should be admitting that or not lol! I am a bit of a geek too!

Lol, yeah, do you know how many time it was assumed I was holding a pen in my hand? I was at a festival last weekend and I signed up for a few things. Every time, I had to ask for a pen and they looked at me like, whats wrong with yours. I had to explain, this is not a pen, lol.

I am a "lefty" but hold it just like the described "pen" technique......at first I was slightly concerned with how to hold it but a WHOLE WEEK later, it comes very naturally

I have a manual and early on for me it was button up and use my finger (and if so forefinger or middle finger), button down and use my thumb, but heck with it...now it's whatever way it sits in my hand when I pick it up. The main thing is to vape and never look back!

You really do get used to it and you will find something that feels natural. After a while you won't even think about it anymore.
