South West FL,
seems like I am dripping alot of juice into my ego with 510 atty and drip tip but its still tasting kind of off like burning a little bit. when I drag on it it sounds like it is bubbling in there but I'm not getting the good taste i was getting from it just a day ago I've been steady dripping on it for almost a week now. Does it need to be cleaned. should I soak it in alcohal.

I did a forum search and just turned up way too many results to sort through so sorry if this is a redundant and already been posted which I am sure it has. Thanks in advance for the tips

Well, first off, did you de-wick and/or debridge the atomizer? I've found that the burning taste sometimes comes from a nasty wick and really, since you're dripping, there is no need to have a bridge in there either :)

I don't often clean my attys, but, when I go back to an old one that I haven't used in a while, I'll clean it.

I use baking soda and vinegar followed by a long rinse in hot water and a dry burn.

Here's the video I used when I first started doing it.

I don't drip but clean my attys everyday! As soon as the flavor's not right or it gets clogged, clean. Got cleaning down to a routine: soak in hot water (or under faucet, no need for any exotic agent), blow out water & dry burn. Takes only a few minutes. By now, I can even tell from the smell after drying/burning if it's clean. vaping's been good and haven't lost an atty in 3 months. They're nearly as good as new, except all the paint's been soaked off by water.

Btw, I use master highping's http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/69834-my-atty-resurrection-method.html

It works.

South West FL,
Not sure about the de bridging dewicking thing? Still kind of new to this and I'd be worried I'd eff something up and I only have 2 atties currently. just hopin to clean it and have it work like it was for the past few days.

Ill try the water and dry burn. not really much room for messing anything up going that route.

Actually, nastos, things could go wrong with dry burning. You could overheat the filament and "pop" your atty, so be careful. And you need more than just 2 attys. It could be very frustrating when they clunk out at the same time. :)

I was too. When I finally tried, I had plenty of extra attys in reserve. When you get more attys, try on one of your originals. It's not as bad as you think (me telling you this isn't going to convince you, you just gotta give it a shot ;) ). When you do it, and if you accidently pull the whole of it up, don't worry about it, just push it back down and try it out. I've pulled the center cup up before and have the atty work perfectly fine afterwards.

Good luck.

South West FL,
I know lol I will be ordering more next week. I just actually started using them. I was on cartos for the longest then I got the ego t and had alot of tank leak issues so I ordered 2 regular attys and I think dripping has become my calling at least while I am just chilling around the crib.

Love the tank but just wasting too much juice trying to get it to work right.

man whys it keep bubblin? I barely drop any juice in and its like bubbling while im pulling on it. I thought it was dry. Is this normal?

If it's bubbling and you're not getting good sized vapor, then it's probably still wet with water (dry burn that sucka). If it's bubbling and hitting okay, take it off and blow it out into a paper towel and re-drip. ;)
