I was thinking this morning about how to really love God. It's easy to say "I love God", but do you really? How much do you love God? Would you do anything that He asked, is your faith like Abraham's? How about Lot? Could you endure what they did and still be faithful and love God through your own suffering?
These are rhetorical questions that I ask myself too.

So often our relationship with God and our love for Him is based upon what He does for us. Unfortunately, when it seems God isn't responding the way we anticipated, we often become distant and express our love for Him less. I guess this is just human nature.
To me, fully loving God means many things, but most importantly, it means aligning my way of thinking to confirm with His will, which isnt' always easy.
1. To love myself and all other living creatures too, human and animal.
2. To love what is good, and hate what is bad.
3. To be thankful and show appreciation for all good things, life and everything that we experience
4. To pray daily for wisdom, understanding and guidance
5. To be grateful for His grace, His patience, and His love
6. To be humble and try to learn something from every experience.
7. To see beauty in His creation, admire it and be thankful for it.
8. To care about others, to feel their pain and feel their joy, just like God does.
