I got a list of parts to build a 510 battery connector from mad vapes. Does anyone know of a chain store that I can purchase theses parts?

Also, does anyone have there own way of making 510, 901, and 801 battery connectors? I would love to learn, and where to find the parts at my local stores.

Thanks

There's quite a few threads around here for making your own connectors. I believe there is a sticky that shows a decent way of making a 510 connector.

And I also believe there is a thread that has a few details on the different thread sizes needed for literally making your own.

I think nerf has a thread with pictures too!

Hope it helps!

when i made my own 901 connectors i used some ones mod that i cant remember where i seen it but its a tire valve drilled out to 1/4 inch with some plastic tube with a screw in the middle and i have it in 3 of my mods but recently i switched to the type n and m connectors from radioshack saves hastle because the valve stems are such a pain in the @$$ to drill strait lol

In my early days I drilled through the sides of a couple of valve stems as well. One would have thought the drill bit would just follow the existing hole in the stem straight though instead of making a U turn. :w00t:

The "N" connector idea was a great find by someone and saved a lot of work. Now that I have a few dead batts and PTs laying around I've been starting to use those.
