How to make it hit harder?

I got my joye 510 last Saturday, and the first couple days I cant remember having to hit it as hard as I have been to get a good drag.

By the time my lungs almost get to the point where they're satisfied, the stupid light starts blinking and cuts me off. I didn't have this problem the first few days, I remember getting good hits before ever seeing the light blink.

It also feels like it takes a second or two before I get anything, and I'm not feeling a slight burn like I was a few days ago.

batteries charged. Been adding juice. What could the problem be?

Yeah, if you are using the cartridges that come with the kit, you may just need a new one. Try cleaning the atty as well. Personally, I soak my attys in a shot of vodka overnight and let them air dry for a few days. If you only have one, there are faster methods, but many of them require dry burning, and you do risk popping your atty. If you are using cartos, you most likely need a new one. They are meant to he disposable, so the life span for them is not too long. I am sure this is not the case since you haven't had your kit for very long, but you may need a new battery. They do stop holding a charge eventually and power loss does happen, but unless you got a bunk battery, it is not sosmething that would happen during its first few weeks of use.

Edit: also make sure you are not using too much liquid. If you use too much, you are going to flood your atty, and when that happens you're going to get very little vapor production and a huge decrease in TH.

Maybe you need to blow out or clean the atty, or change the cartomizer?

I don't know, maybe. It seems possible but not likely.

I use cartridges btw, not cartomizers. And I sort of cleaned the atty today by blowing into it, and I've kept it out of dirty environments since I got it Saturday, so I'm not so sure that's the cause.

Blowing it out is good to do every night. But for cleaning I would suggest you rinse it out in very hot tap water, blow out as much water as you can and then let it dry in a warm place for a day.

Since you got it on Saturday might be dirty or the filling in you cart just needs to be fluffed up. Take a neddle or a pin and kinda fully it and stab it to make sure it is nice an lose.

Sometime it helps to take the cart material out and rinse it in hot water. Then roll it in a clean paper towel and pat it dry. Then put the cart material back in the cart.

Let us know how things go.

If you've cleaned the atties and already dripped at least three drops inside them then maybe it's time to upgrade to blue foam if you don't use cartos. Blue Foam is a great filler for refillable cartridges that is long lasting and has great vapor production. Have a look at different sites which supply the 510.

If you have a tropical fish shop handy, you can get a huge sheet of blue-and-white polyester. Aquarists use it for filters. I got 2 1/4 square feet (an 18 inch square) for $2.49. Were I to use attys and carts exclusively, I figure I'd run out of the polyester filler sometime around 2019 or 2020.

Are you using prefilled cartridges?
Are you using a new cartridge every time, or are you refilling them?
If refilling them, how many times do you reuse them before switching to a new one?
Do you use the filler material that came with it, or are you using different filler material?

Do you do any kind of cleaning or maintenance at all right now?
Do you ever blow the atomizer out?

In other words, what are you doing?
