I'm tired of vaping my Ego and I want a TRUE 5v vaping experience. Since I don't plan on carrying a big battery mod, A passthrough is a better economic choice for me. However, I've heard of problems with performance and vapor production, depending on you power source. I have a few questions.

1) Will my GDPT vape like a true 5v device (given enough power)?

2) Will my 1amp, 5V wall port do the trick?

3) Is this a good purchase for getting max performance out of the GDPT?

If you go to the details page on that device you'll see this: Capable of charging 4 mobile devices simultaneously (Max output of each port is 0.5 Amp=500 MA. That means you don't want it. You want one that can deliver 2 amps. One way to make sure is buy a one port design that's rated at 2 amps or 2000 ma. Some of the 2 port designs can deliver 2 amps to each port but some don't. Be sure and check for 2 amps if you get a car adapter also.

Edit: I ordered both ac and car adapter from madvapes and both work well. I think you can find them at wally world and other places as well.
