Its simple, each day you spend 3-8 bucks per pack on cigs.

I was a pack a day smoker at $5 per pack.

Set aside what you used to spend on cigarettes each day, at the end of the month, spend around 3/4ths of it so you can say you saved money!

Since i was a pack a day smoker, at $5 a pack, that's up to $150 a month i can use on vaping, which is more than enough on juices and carto's, youll just have to be patient or cheat a little when purchasing a new PV.

Good idea. A mini savings account!!

In looking back over the last couple of years vaping, I see how i could have saved so much but with my obsessive methods I justified spending what in my case was about $8 a pack, way too much, in the name of "research and development". :)
Being a newbie has its innocence, dismissed because I went over and above, but for what it's worth I did learn a hell of a lot.
Like really, an eGo passthrough and an 106 LR atty will do just fine.

It's almost impossible for me to spend less on e cigs than smokes..I can buy a bag of 200+ decent tasting native brand smokes from the reservation for $13-15..it was costing around $60/month for smokes plus gas to drive 1hr+ each way..plus the gas there is 20-30cents cheaper a gallon so it almost was costing nothing for the gas there and back with a fill up.

It cost me a little more at $70+ a month so far (since last June) to vape but I'm vaping at least 7 flavors and some of that cost was trying things at the beginning..I could probably get it a bit under $60/month if I tried but I'm fairly happy with the cost. My costs are going down overall and I think sometime this year they will drop below the $70/month mark. Plus add on how much better I feel and that it's better for me I can't complain much.

So far I've only been buying from MadVapes and they have very reasonable prices..they sucked me in yesterday with a 10% off "Facebook" code that I just couldn't pass up :D Although buying the eGo tank kit ($49.99 on sale yesterday plus the 10% off code..was $59.99 cost me about $45..2-3.5ml tanks..2-eGo batteries..case..charger and ect...) and 7-30ml bottles of e-liquids I did at the discounted price will help my monthly amount long run..on top of that I had $5 off in reward points from past purchases I used (plus I have $5+in points for my next purchase to use) so all that cost me just under $90..waiting for deals/sales from already reasonable priced suppliers really can keep the costs down :)

Uhhh, it helps if your not addicted to wanting to make every new flavor that is mentioned! In about 3 1/2 weeks, I have purchased over 120 different flavor drops to DIY. This is on top of nicotine at about $100, PG and VG at about $20 each... then there is the new cylinders, syringes etc... Might have helped me if I didn't check the forum every hour or so!!! :vapor:

I am allowing myself plenty of latitude this first month, and I have gotten the pvs I am happy with now. I am building up a good stock of juices so that I have a supply, and also get to sample all of the flavors that interest me to find the ones I like best. Like CrispyCritter for different reasons it would be difficult for me to really spend less because I rolled your own with the least expensive (but really bad) tobacco possible so I spent about 16 dollars a week on my cigarettes. However, I don't really use that as a comparison, I figure that real brand name cigarettes here are 8 bucks a pack and my pack and a half a day habit would have cost about 12 dollars a day. Looking at that I am still saving money.

After this month though, I do hope to have enough supplies that I can just add a few bottles of e-juice a month to keep my stock going, and a couple packs of cartos etc and it will come really close, if not less than what I spent even in real money on my yukky cigarette habit.

If it doesn't, I really don't care. I may end up spending a little more, but I'm also a LOT healthier.

If you buy quality it's pretty easy to sell on the classifieds here...sure you lose a few bucks, but you've had the privilege to use it and pass it on; while others like saving a few bucks. Good stuff sells easy.
Even juice and accessories.
I've gone through lots of high end gear; getting in on first runs of pv's is a trick; if they are really juicy items; like say the Darwin, the Provari, bottom feeders... I've snapped them on first run, and if I figure I would want to let it go and try something else... easy to sell when the first run is sold out.
I sold my GGTS and my Provari (one of them) in minutes... some GG accessories sell for more than you paid for em, but that's another story... for darn close to what i paid. ymmv.

I figure " get the best " you can afford; saves headaches in the long run.

That said, sitting next to my Provari and XL Vmod, and soon to be VVPV is an eGo passthru with an LR 1.5 Ohm i06 atty... it's a cannon.
