How to open up my Riva so I can fix the thing?

I can't make the search function of this website work right for me for some reason, I get absolutely nothing really relevant when I search, lol, I'm sure this has been discussed some where... but I need help .. Could someone link me to something if they find it/know of a post? Or obviously just answer if they know?

I have a Riva battery that I bought last month that I want to take apart and fix the inner connection to.. I can hear the battery wobbling around in there..

I dropped it in the basement (on concrete.. I'm a clumsy person in general) and then a few hours later it quit vaping without any blinks and I tipped it around and felt that the battery inside was now loose.. It probably needs its connection re-soldered.

Anyway, I do not know how to open it... I don't want to just start ripping at it for fear I might damage something else and if I am going to solder it I want to know exactly where I should solder (pictures?).

Should I ask the vendor (vaporjunction) if they have any ideas about how to open it/fix it?

TY, I found an air hose fitting that should work.. You think it'll be obvious where I should solder it? Guess I'll have to just take er apart and find out. Youtube might have vids? I have 56k, so it takes me like an hour to watch a 3 minute video.. hence why I wanted a post with pics.. but if I found exactly the right thing I could be patient about it. TY again.

Pretty slow then...but i think this video teaches all you need to know.
Just get something that screws on the cone threading and wiggle it gently until the button/connector comes out.
Gently pull it until you see some wires that may or may not be broken.
On the other end of the wires is the battery that should also be soldered at the bottom.

Okay, I went to solder it and I accidentally grounded it because I left it in its cover and didn't realize that would happen ..... it was a nice tiny little brief blaze in my basement (like a part of a second.. FLASH! poof wire gone. LOL). =p

LOVELY. Of course, did I mention I am accident prone, and probably should've just .. I dunno.. not tried to fix it? hahaha. The hubs was like "I Told You So".

Now I guess I have a nice lithium battery.. it still has good voltage .. I don't know how to fix it now though, especially since I threw the button and whole thing in the wash basin sink and the button went down the drain. No button, burnt non-existent wires, the cover thing has a burnt spot in the bottom where I welded the battery to it temporarily.. lol.. fixing it now is not going to happen. Ah, well. Adventures, adventures.

That was just a strike a bad luck there.
Don't know if it will be better buying a new battery in terms of cost related (or more bad luck) but there are buttons for sale.
On the wires you probably can do something about it.

Well at the very least you learned what not to do...

Yes Skeet, haha, I'm pretty sure I did learn what not to do You can't touch the cover.. you should pull it off as far as you can get it without breaking the wire that connects it at the bottom... as to reduce the likelihood you might accidentally ground it like I did..

I was neverminding if I accidentally touched the case with my solder/the wire etc (it happened kinda fast, I jerked the solder gun and then FOOM! lol). That was obviously a large error .. I should been being much more careful.

I think next time if I have this same issue (it was simply a wire loose from the little board) I can fix it without any poofy fires, since I know what will happen if you aren't being extremely careful with the case. However, I am just not going to try to fix this particular wireless buttonless one at this point. It would involve way too much for me at this point.. it's beyond me a little, I think. Maybe if I get better at fixing more minor issues I'll tackle soldering all new wires into one of these

Thanks for your help, though! I will add also that a very large flathead screwdriver was how I actually got it open because I couldn't find a hose fitting that actually fit, I thought I had one but it was too big. Knowing where the battery separated was very helpful so I didn't wrench at the wrong area, though.
