Driving to work today at way too early in the morning I went to adjust the airflow on one of my Aerotank Minis and not paying attention I grabbed both the bottom metal part of the tank and the airflow ring in one hand, the top metal part of the tank in the other and twisted to be greeted with a *crunch* and a hand full of juice. When I get to work I look at the tank and, yup, I managed to crack the glass by over torqing the metal together.
Thankfully I did't cut myself and I've got couple of replacement glasses on order but until then I'm using the SS tank that also came with it. How do people deal with these on the Minis? I've managed to over fill it every time I top it up because I can't see in the tiny space how much space is left and I keep topping it up because I can't see how much juice is left. Don't get me wrong, with the glass I love these tanks but I'm going to go insane until the replacement glass gets here.

So lesson learned, I must be more gentle with these babies.

The trick to the SS tubes is getting into a habit of knowing when to top off. Plus it doesnt hurt to top off often.

For overfilling, you can get a needle tip dripper like an Innokin U-Can, and a regular Q-tip swap fits into the air tube from the drip tip end to plug the hole.

I'm going to go with the q-tip trick until I get my new glass. I hadn't thought of that. Thanks!

I run either way

Just broke the glass on my first Kayfun, and switched back to the steel. There is a change in flavor

To see what you're doing, use a penlight. I just set the tank down (I have a holder on my desk, and an old coil jig/atty holder in my bag), pull the top nut, then hold light in one hand and bottle in the other. Never overfill

For something like an Aero Mini: pull the drip tip, set it upside on a flat surface, and see above
