You can lightly polish the ceramic coat. Generally the coating is not super thick, so do not use a lot of pressure. A little Mothers polish on a rag should do the trick.

Also, depending on the color, if its just dirty you can use some window cleaner on a rag to clean it up. White or lighter ceramic colors.

As kenny said, a dab of Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish (can get it at advanced auto parts for $8), wipe with a terry cloth, and then take a microfiber and give it a nice rub to finish.

Personally for all of my mods, I attach a carto to them, slide the other end of the carto onto my drill, and then use the drill to spin the mod while I polish.
Haven't gotten a better finish any other way. If you do this method, go very slowly, and be very careful as to not overstress the 510 connection.

Pretty good idea but not recommended for everyone..Here is way that does not involve the 510.. I took a socket that was slightly smaller then the tube, and then used electrical tape to jam over the socket that would fit tightly over the tube. Pop into a drill and spin away..

Here is a tip for everyone who has mothers polish and a drill..
Insert qtip in drill. Tiny bit of mothers, very tiny, rub in to the tip.. Now polish your 510 connection, including the threads.. repeat with clean qtip without polish.. I keep noticing others with really tarnished 510 connection everywhere.. Easy fix and I promise your device hits better afterwords.
