How to Prime the atty without juice?

Hello

Well...my Joye 510 came today and I only ordered the most basic kit. I didn't get any juice so now I am wondering how to prime the atty before using it. I hate to be a bother....

What other type of liquid can I use to prime it? Will a very small drop of water work? I really want to avoid the metal taste than can result from improper use.

Also, I see that the atomizer seems to be a one piece item, but found that it is actually two parts. When I put the proper liquid in it, do I place it directly on the exposed wick, or do I drop it into the really small hole on the top?

Hope this makes sense..!

So I'm assuming you didn't order any extra liquid with your order.
Bad move, but you'll figure that out later.
:)

Anyway, you can use straight VG to prime it up.

I suggest blowing it out real good first, then drop three drops on the bridge.
Then wait five minutes, and drop three more drops on the bridge.

Then wait a few minutes, stick the cartridge on and start vaping.
You should start getting the flavor from your cartridge after about 8-15 drags.

I would say no.

You definitely don't put it in the hole at the end.
That won't go anywhere but in your mouth then next time you inhale.
:)

You need to take the cartridge off and put it on the bridge of the atomizer.
That is the metal part sticking up that looks kinda like a bridge.

It took me 10 minutes when I first got my 510 to work out the cart (the bit with the teeny hole) came off from the atty lol. I was wondering how in heck to put new cart on - couldn't see the join as everything was black hehe.
Priming without any juice - well if its a brand new kit you don't really need to prime it (did you remember to blow out the primer fluid btw? Don't inhale that - its not a great taste) just keep reattching new carts should keep it primed enough. If you think its getting dry though, take an old cart, pull out stuffing and squeeze it into a tiny cup, use a dropper or a toothpick to move the juice you get onto the atty bridge (the metal meshed mushroom thing inside the atty between the cart end and the screw on bit).
Theres always juice left in the filler no matter how dry you think you vaped it.

Hey Capt'n....that was super helpful..! I haven't used my little kit yet, it's just sittin' there on the table lookin' at me..!

So....I will blow out the primer fluid before use (that's the small hole, right? LOL..LOL!)

My kit came with 5 carts, I'm pretty sure they are only samples. I found out that there is a store in Spokane, which is 120 miles away, so it looks like a trip to the big city is in order!

Thanks for your response

That the small hole in the BATTERY side of the atomizer.

But you have to take the cartridge off first.
Then put the cartridge end (without the cartridge) against a paper towel.
Then blow (hard) through the small hole on the battery end.

When no more juice comes out, prime it up and go forward.

Cool beans!
You are likely to blow through the carts really fast - I dumped my carts entirely and went over to direct dripping (like the way you do priming but using 2 or 3 drops of liquid - from a bottle you buy off juice suppliers - and using no filler in the cart so it becomes a mouthpiece.) Carts are fine for on-the-go but at home its dripping all the way baby! lol.
You will find better juice enhances your experience enormously - there are SO many flavors to choose from (from tobacco to maple syrup and back again!) that you should have fun taste testing things. There are many suppliers too - check out the E Liquid reviews forums for ideas, (rememebring that YOUR taste and other people's isn't going to be the same) and use the ECF approved suppliers list so hopefully you won't get duped. You may also find you need to adjust your nicotine level - if you get a headache or feel dizzy for example after vaping then your current nic level is too high. Luckily nic juice (also known as ejuice, juice, or nicquid) comes in many strengths.
Have fun :thumb:

Cool, congrats on taking the first steps into the wonderful world of vaping! You can look forward to feeling so much better. Plus it's just so much more fun than smoking analogs :p.

I grew up in Central Washington.

I think the initial first cough is your lungs freaking a little from the water vapor. Kinda like being in a wet sauna and taking a deep breath ! You should adapt very quickly though.

If you can find liquid in Spokane you should definitely make the trip. I made the same mistake when I started. I was reluctant to buy anything extra because I was so skeptical. But I was sold on the first puff and never smoked again. I soon after realized that my starter carts would not last until my juice order arrived 8-o. One of the forum members local here to SoCal hooked me up with some juice. Totally saved my ....! I would have had no choice but to have an analog.
