[I'm posting this here in the New Members' Forum because of its especial relevance to newbies (a characterization that still applies to me in some ways) and because I'm not 100% sure that most people here don't know about it. If you do know about it, feel free to move onto another thread (after posting a comment about my cluelessness, if you like).

If you are like me, it's frustrating to search ECF for most of the common two- or three-character terms that dominate the world of electronic cigarettes, e.g., ECF, 510, 801, 901, SD, GG, PG, VG, PCC, DIY, and on and on. It's a limitation built into the system used by most forums (not just ECF).
Well ... at the very bottom left of most pages (not just the Advanced Search page) is a little box with "Google Custom Search" printed in pale letters. It operates just like any Google search, e.g., you can use "", +, and words of any length. But the default selection of the scope of the search is e-cigarette-forum.com. (You can change the scope to the entire Internet if you want.)
I finally noticed this little box just the other day ... and I don't think it is documented in any forum FAQ or "Read This First."
