I decided I need to give my hand a rest and I bought a Riva.
When I leave my apartment, I bring my Chuck.
When I'm doing things around the apartment, I use my Chuck
When I'm sitting at my computers, I use the Riva.
When I'm sitting at my desk, I look down and think "when did I pick that up?" Even when I don't vape from it, I'll have it in my hand. I'll play with it and hold it -- a security blanket. And for that, the Chuck is just too heavy for me. I was developing pain in my hand. (I was the same way when I smoked. I'd light a cigarette, turn to put it in the ashtray and find another one there that had only been lit a minute or so before. Or I'd realize I was holding a lit cigarette when the ash fell on the desk.)
It was the right move. It's only been a few days and my hand is feeling a lot better. And I'm impressed with the Riva. (I went from stock 510s and 801s directly to the Chuck.) But it has also reinforced in my mind just how superior the Chuck is. The Riva is a very nice PV that produces a lot of good-tasting vapor which is sufficient for me a lot of the time. The Chuck is a great PV that produces a delicious cloud.
And this isn't really a question of voltage (I have a Little Chuck and have never vaped at above 3.7V.) And it's not a question of stock batteries vs. AW or Ultrafire (I have a Screwdriver that I hate.) It's simply that the Chuck results in better vaping.
