Not bashing anyone but the halo line pretty much ruined me for tv. There is definitely a different quality to the main base of the stuff. Cartos never get gunked up. I still get a good two three weeks at a crack at 6volts. The flavors I am ordering in small bottles, vape the whole thing and then I am pretty much over them for a bit. Kinda like eating the same food everyday. The torque is like coffee or beer, might not be totally in the mood but you don't ever get tired of the flavor, probably because it is more the ritual or the fix than the flavor and smoking was more of that for me anyway...never tasted good, it was ritual and fix-not taste.

Ralph I got my duals from cov but I think they are all smoketech. They are totally designed for hv vaping and I ain't talking no 3.7 stuff either. I have 6 boxes of regular boges and four of the duals so I am good to go for a while. My standard 6 bottles of torque, a bottle of tribeca and the small bottles of deej's stuff. I'll need some more of the cappuccino for bwb but I might hold off till fall. I don't switch between a ton of flavors, one at a time and usually yeah, it is the torque or tribeca and then in the evening I'll use the others.

Poeia, if you like strawberry I will add a sample of the strawberry champagne and the cantaloupe champagne with your bottles. I'll also send you what I have left of the bwb waffle. I subgroup what I like and if one over-rides the other than I just pass them along. Cappuccino was better than the waffe, hypnotic better than the cantaloupe and so one. I am weird like that.

Time to get moving again, can't waste a good day at the puter. Chores and a trip to the farm store for a few plants and flea and wormer stuff for the cat and wormer for the horses and I am sure I'll find something else, oh, oil and filters for the car....hmmmm, grass seed, weed and feed...might be an ugly sight at the cash register. :)

I'll never try any of the Halo flavors because I don't particularly like the taste of tobacco. The flavor definitely wasn't why I smoked.

Ralph, the nicotine degrades but it's still vapable after a year. Most of what I'm vaping now is 10-14 months old and there's still definitely nicotine in it. Maybe less than there used to be, but it's there. The water in the liquids evaporates a bit as well. That's part of the reason I'm clogging cartos -- some of what I have is like vaping maple syrup. I'm too lazy to figure out how much to thin it. (Water or booze, that is the question. Can't buy Everclear in NYS and I'm too lazy to get out the stepladder to figure out what I do have.)

DAYang! You can get Everclear in any place that sells hard alcohol here. NY must be too far east and north! LOL! I think vodka does the trick too but it has more of a taste.

I used a leftover bottle of the stuff when I first started vaping to clean out attys. I had a fifth laying around cause I got a bad toothache once but after hanging my throbbing head over the sink trying to rinse with the stuff I looked at my hubby and said in trucker language that I was not that much of a redneck and headed straight to the oral surgeon for a root canal. I did have my crown done in gold though.

My father the orthodontist who, like me, is not a drinker always used a little whisky to swish until he could go to the dentist. I had a problem one weekend so I called and asked if it had to be whiskey because I thought it would make me hurl. He said any alcohol -- or any counter-irritant would do.

Everclear is illegal to sell in a lot of states. I think I have some vodka but I keep my booze in the cupboard over the fridge so I'd have to remove the extra paper towels and boxes of tissues and get out the stepladder.

Anyway, I finally finished my cheesecake flavors. The combo I mixed up this afternoon is a lot less thick.

ETA: If I really needed the Everclear, I'd take the Path train across the river to Hoboken ($3.50 round trip) and buy a bottle.

ETA 2: So I climbed up. I have an almost full bottle of 70 proof Stoli.

Here's an idea. Blu is implanting a networking chip in their charger packs. That way the people who like vaping overpriced, under-powered PVs can find each other and bond.

Now Jeff has to find a way to put one in Chuck end caps so the smart vapers can get together.

I FINALLY figured out that I prefer dripping to cartomizers. It's a hassle refilling so often but you have to keep wetting cartos too and dripping tastes soooooo much better. And, with my tendency to flood and clog my cartos, atomizers are actually more cost-efficient. (And I have enough cartos left to use for occasions when I'll be out of the apartment for hours and hours and dripping would be inconvenient.)

I am interested in tanks but they are evolving so fast that I might as well wait a couple of months for the 10th version. Besides, in the meantime Jeff might invent an automatic feeder for the Chuck (hint, hint).

That is funny!

You know, the more I vape, the more I just like my regular chuck. I am bored with the whole gadgetry thing. Carts are my favorite still.
I haven't used my tanks in weeks. Probably because I need to cut a new ce2 filler and have been too lazy! LOL!

Poeia, I haven't gotten around to mailing bottles to you yet. I haven't gotten around to much of anything but work these days. Next week will hopefully be better. I am kinda in a funk, I am now in my fourth store in the last twelve months and just can't get a routine going, just when I was getting myself all scheduled I up and got moved and now my schedule is goofier yet not to mention I have an additional 40 miles added to my daily commute.

I think at this rate, this thread should be renamed "and then there was three" LOL!

"Three and a Half Posters" (gotta count Norie too).

I thought I was all settled in with my 2.5 ohm cartos. Then I had to go and try the dual coil ones and ....:wub: so far. I like to make and use my own stuff and about every 6 months I get the urge to mod. I think I have hit the plateau of that urge, this go around. Having completed two completely different Altoid mods in the last week.

It amazes me that you cant be put on permanently at a store.... that they shuffle you at whim from store to store.... WTFIUWT? Is there anyway to get into a position whereby you can be at one store for the duration? Whose .... would you have to kiss?

Amy, absolutely no rush.
When are you moving (are you still moving?)

As soon as I posted the above, I killed an atty, after only 4 days. Of course I was sucking on that thing like a straw for a while today -- that's why 6V isn't good for me. When I get in the mood, I can treat that thing like I'm working on a milkshake. Also with an atty there's the possibility it isn't dead. I collect my "bad" ones and one day soon I'll sit down and attack them with my steamer. Probably 1/3 of the ones in that pile will be resurrected.

Modding sounds like such fun but I'm a klutz and I don't like reading instructions in advance (and reading as you need to know isn't a good idea for things like that.) Is it possible to make your own atomizers? If so, any ban on the sale of PVs becomes a complete joke. People like Jeff would have to raise their prices to cover the cost of an unscrewable bulb on the "flashlights" they sell and there would be a brisk business in trading for home-made atomizers.

Once I get rid of my liquid stash, I am going to start adding my nicotine at home. TV doesn't sell 6mg so I have to buy one ounce of 12mg and a doubler ($20-$25) and mix. If I buy some 100mg (and some rubber gloves), 6mg is a 14 to 1 ratio. That shouldn't affect the flavor at all. (For places that carry 6mg at the same price as 0, I might buy it with the nicotine in. :D )

Yeup, three and a half would be about right! The dual coils have me spoiled to Ralph and I am beginning to really dig this tribeca stuff, I almost wonder if I like it more than torque. Those are pretty acquired tastes and once you acquire it you are surely hooked.

Nope, they move us assistant managers around. At least the assistants get a flat 40 and pretty much know they work all nights, I am next step which is salary which means minimum 44 hours, spent the last twelve weeks working well over 50, and last step from actual store manager, I don't kiss ... and play the bs game so I'll probably never make it. The suck ups have a total game face and personality when the big bosses come in. Me, I am the same, my staff appreciates it but it ain't gonna move me up and I tell the suits what I actually think, not what they want to hear. Basically, I am screwed!

Poeia, as soon as we can sell the house. Hard sell. 3000 square foot field stone and timber framed house that does need some work, all the buildings need work, six car garage and 4000 square foot framed shop on a commercial zoned acre on a state highway but about four feet above the highway. We are now asking for less than we paid almost 15 years ago. Even at that price, folks still walk in and want/expect it to be completely remodeled. Buyers in this market are down right rude ashats. Funny thing, the biggest parts of the remodel are kinda done. I flippen am about to give up but I can't afford it all anymore since we own two other properties that we don't want to loose. We decided to bail and the market won't allow us.
We were never great savers so we used real estate as forced savings, needless to say that bit us in the ..... LOL!

Not sure what the deal is, probably just being out of wack with the location switch but I kinda feel two steps away from prozac. Not really, the stuff skeers me but I am definitely having my self a fine pity party. I was gonna buy a couple bottles of wine the other night and I am sitting here wishing I had. This to shall pass, if not by the end of the week I'll be to freaking tired to wallow in self pity.

Amy, the Tribeca rocks! It has already surpassed the Torque for me.... actually, that happened at first whiff from opening the bottle. Deej's Virginia is a close second, TV Waffle is still in there and then comes the Torque. I want to try the new Halo Prime One (I think that's what its called). Kind of afraid to, cause it might supersede another favorite. So much good juice and so little time.

Don't know why my taste shifted back to 'bacco flavors, but it did. I blame whoever got me started on the Torque.

So far, loving them dual coils. Hopefully the shine wont wear off.

I know exactly what you are talking about. When I was in the Air Force, I was one of the guys that couldn't "shut up and color." I stuck up for my troops and that was good, but I also vented my true thoughts about how upper management functioned, and just how :censored: up things are for those of us at the lower levels. I was not politically correct, and didn't step all over my troops to make rank, so I never made it past E7 and the last ten years..... well.... I just didn't want to be there. Don't miss that crap at all. Miss the people I worked with... not all the crap. So, yeah, it's a curse. Hold to your values though. It's what makes Amy... Amy. :)

FWIW Amy, I think you are one of the most sane people I know. You are under tremendous stress, but very honest in assessing it, and it's effect upon you. You don't bottle stuff inside, which is also important. Perhaps most important is that at the end of most days, you let it all out, and do that with a smile and a wonderful sense of humor!!! Sometimes laughter IS the best medicine. You figured that out. Like it or not, you got it together. :toast:

Oh, and pity parties can be fun...:laugh:

Thanks Ralph, better today. Was suppose to go look at a new Dane puppy this morning but after sleeping on it, decided it might not be real wise. A dang if I do, dang if I don't type thing.

Sure blame me on your changing tastes. You would like the prime if you like virginia. I got a sampler of it, hubs likes it.
I think the torque and tribeca are not quite on the tobacco taste, just a few degrees off but completely different from 'edible' flavors which is why I like it I guess.

Need to go put on my shackles and get to work.

Hmmm, Ralphie, I am gonna blame you for my liquid order today. Not saying it is your fault, just gonna blame ya! LOL!
I like the champagne stuff-the must have hypnotic plus plum and blackberry and samples of lemonade and cherrycola and I decided I needed more bwb cappuccino.
These dual coil things are really wrecking me, as in spoiled. I guess the 'LR' found its loophole for me in a twisted weird way. LOL!

It has been a while. Poeia, I will get myself to the post office this week, been a bit crazy.
So at beer thirty today I drank a glass of wine. Very weird, only been about 12 years since I've had wine. I did however drink it out of a tumbler type glass with ice in it but it did come out of a bottle with a cork, not screw top or a box. Beer goes on the shopping list for tomorrow.

So my husband got his teeny tiny vv box mod. He likes it whether he actually quits smoking and uses the dang thing is entirely another story. Me, NO WAY! I don't get it and I don't care how high I turn the thing up, nothing compares to a chuck. Not saying bad about it but REALLY? this whole lr and VV stuff is waaay overrated in my book. Just thought I'd post that.
I guess I like having something solid in my hand, I'd have that little plasticy thing all busted in less than a day.

Ugh, that last sentence sounded bad but y'all know what I mean. Anyhoo, it definitely proved that I am a chuck freak through and through.

Ralph, you need to link the rest of that quote. LOL!
