okay so I recently went through and watched all of the seasons of The Shield, which was really good, and I think that's the only thing besides Fantastic Four and Rise Blood Hunter that I've seen Chiklis in.

Now for the last 15 minutes I can't stop laughing at the happy, smiley, guy he is as I watch the first episode of The Commish

I have no idea why the picture turned out like that. Poeia is a Mitred Conure. When I got her she was a baby and she was all green. She added more red with each molt and she's 17 now. But it's a true red. I say she's dressed for Christmas 365 days a year (and we're Jewish.)

I LOVE that pic of Peoia, Poeia! :D

Thye- I have a long time love of "The Sheild"...Kinda reminds me of a modern day Robin Hood :lol: One of those shows that suck you in and you cant stop watching. Did you watch Prison Break when it ran? If not, you may wanna check it out...but dont forget to watch the last 2 hour ending. They cut the season short so they did a little "movie" to wrap it up. :)

NSG- HI!!!!! :D:):smokie:

I hope everyones doing good! I see another milestone beens hit! Now-I MUST go catch up the past few days!

Yeah The Shield was good. The Commish is still amusing me. I watched like the first 4 episodes today and I just can't stop laughing at him in it.

Never watched Prison Break. I figure if it took them 4 years to get out they musta spent a lot of time just sitting around.

Hi to all of my Saturday friends.

Hi CTJ!! We don't see near enough of you these days......:(

Hi and agreed.

Hey everyone, sorry for the absence here.
I've been up to my eyeballs trying to get my house back in order after we (it and me) got hit by lightning a few weeks ago.

Having to rebuild my entire AV setup along with pretty much everything else in the house. We're well over $14k already.

I am hoping to have the last of it wrapped up this weekend then I'll back to grace you all with my witty sarcastic bantar.

Chucks are done for the night, now to finish running cabling for my security cameras and some sleep.... maybe :)

Wow, it's lucky you are capable of doing a lot of the work yourself. If you had to hire someone to do it all, $14K would seem cheap.

Hopefully you had surge protectors and they saved some stuff (although, apparently, the companies that make they have never paid out a penny on the guarantees -- there's always some loophole.)

Even an insomniac needs sleep. Take care of yourself first.

Surge protectors didn't phase a direct hit to my antenna tower. Most of my phone lins were literally melted off the jacks.

I am doing everything myself... the $14k is strictly for replacment items.

It sucks, just the time involved in getting everything re-configured.
Took me an entire night just to get my programming put into the new DVR.

But, if you had to get someone else to do it, it would be twice the money and it would still be time consuming because you'd have to hang around to supervise them.

And it really is amazing that you weren't seriously hurt when the lightning knocked you on your ..... I guess, as bad as this has been, it really is a case of "count your blessings."

We are talking about the same Jeff right? A little bit of sissy ONE POINT TWENTY-ONE JIGAWATTS! isn't going to damage him. Plus he was probably making a Chuck at the time, so it just conducted into the metal and made a self sufficient Chuck that doesn't need batteries to vape.

In all seriousness though, don't ever try to shoot him, you'll only make him angry. :D

Jeez Jeff, that totally sucks. I am doing some replacement tops for a customer down the road, she lost half her kitchen appliances in that storm! We are funny here, on one of the highest points of the area and those wicked micro bursts always shoot to the north or south of us! And I am talking just a few miles north or south. Dang old house is over 150 years old, it ain't going nowhere.

My middle kid, turned 20 today. He was my tiniest one. A bit undercooked. Hard to believe at one time I was holding this five pound little glow worm looking thing in my arms. We all went out to BWW for dinner tonight with my folks. I think everyone had fun.

A moment of silence for the death/disappearance of "The Good The Bad and The Ugly little chuck. I am definitely going to have to figure out how to replace that one. I wuved it. If I can do so, I'll have Jeff redo it in regular size. He's got hubby's cubs little chuck now. He'd better not loose that one, it's pretty cool too, same style as the one he lost with the three horizontal graphics and Jeff did the ends in such a cool grey tshirt type color.

No staying up late to play with you all, work schedule from hell, need to be out the door by six and have about an hour of book work to do first. Too many corona's this evening to deal with bookwork now!
