Nope, just black wrinkle. The wrinkle has a slight satin finish, the "white" spots are the high spots in the wrinkles that reflect the flash back to the camera.

Yeah, but it keeps him able to use a certain payment method, and the cheaper way to order also means he doesn't have to raise prices to pay for it all.
