I just bought Smokeless Image's Volt starter kit and with that I got one manual pv and one automatic. I'm not sure how to store them for the go because I'm nervous the manual might go off in the little pouch I have now. And should I put those little e cig condoms on the metal part of the battery when not in use and disassembled ?

You could disassemble them but that would be a pain every time you wanted to vape. The volt does have a pcc available on the site you could check out, or I'm sure there's plenty of hard cases that will fit that pv. I carry my manual batt in a shirt pocket or cargo pocket when available.
If there isn't a carto or atty on it nothing will happen as there is no load. I'd put a condom on it to keep trash out of the threads.
