So, the great folks at Smokeless Image are going to switch out the PCC once it's back in stock, but I figured I'd give this a shot. My PCC is only recognizing my manual battery, but when I plug in the automatic, I get a flashing battery symbol with an X over it. This also happens when you go to charge and there is no battery connected. Any idea? It charges my manual, so I'm wondering maybe the batteries are the problem? They do however charge in the regular wall charger.

Yeah, but it DOES charge when the battery is upright in the position you would screw it in, but when it moves from that position, it loses connection.
I've had issues with my pcc as well and contacted smokeless image. They said it sounded like it was defective and offered to replace it for me but I would have to send it back first. Sounded good to me and that's exactly what I'm going to do.
I would suggest that you contact them too and see what they say. I'm sure they'll do the same for you too. Honestly, amazed with how fast they responded to my email and their attention to customer service.
