How to tell DNA 30 battery is charged

Hi, I have my Vapor Shark dna 30 on charge as I type. There is currently a red light on just above the micro-USB input on the device. I pressed one of the up/down buttons to take a look at the battery icon on the OLED display and it seems like it is full. Am I supposed to wait for the red light to turn off or turn green to let me know when it's actually fully charged or can I go by the full battery icon on the display and take it off charge now?

I think I remember my dna turns green when charged. I am pretty sure Evolve made the charging board for the vapor shark so I would take a look at their specs.
