How to tell your juice needs to steep without wasting it

I've been fortunate to have been limited to pre-steeped juices. However I have 3 new ones coming in that may or may not be steeping. Due to a recent incident involving a dumb dog, I only have 1 clear now (I CE6 it calls itself) and an EVOD coming. With those, how would I test my juices without vaping it and being stuck having to let the tanks sit after I pour it in.

Wait, I can drip right down to my atto in a clearo? Well that makes sense but figured it wasn't suited for that. Hell I can use the tip on mine now for that then.

Yes you can, an atty is an atty (resistance aside) and you can drip on any of them. Yes they do call the mouthpieces on them drip tips for a reason LOL. No they aren't really meant for dripping, but they do work for it if that's what you want to do and, in this case, need to do.

Well with a normal CE6 or EVOD, how many drops should be enough to tell?

Simple, I do it all the time.
Evod
Put 15 drips into Tank
Install coil base and let sit a few minutes to wet wick well.
No like, remove base and pour remainder back into bottle.

Rinse wick under hot water. Both sides well and down pipe.
Cover coil center pin hole and blow through Wick pipe.
Wick now has almost NO moisture left
Pat Base dry - napkin

Rinse and shake water out or Evod body
