How to tell

So I have a friend with a cig style device and its either a 901 or 808, how do i tell what it is? I've only used 510s and now on an Icon so I've never been able to tell. She's running out of cartons but can't order till we know what she needs.

Does she know the name of it? It could be a 4081. You just never know. Does the connection look like a 510?

I am using a KR808D-1 manual battery with a 901 atomizer. Both the cartomizers (808) and the atomizers (901) have the same threading. Does she use cartomizers or cartridges? She has both choices with the manual battery.

901's are usually very easy to distinguish but you will find the batteries on alot of similar models are the same

There is a internal link that tells the tap/die sizes to the various cartos/batteries. I do not know how this forum does internal links, so will cut/paste below. I plan on visiting the hardware store to get a few nut/bolt combos so I can sort out my junk bin.

Thanks guys. I figured that you can run 808s on 901 batteries. And I believe that 4081s are just smaller versions of 510 where the battery connection is the female thread. She has it to where it's a male thread for the battery and is bigger then the 510 thread. The brand is E-Cigarette. Yeah so not much help there. All your info has been super helpful. Thanks again
