I love the idea of the drip shield, but man it tightens up the draw way too much! Does anyone have a suggestion? Should I just punch another 2-3 hole a the top?

I would start with just widening the existing holes... I heard a circling a large safety pin or large sewing needle will do the trick...
I would recommend a little at a time regardless... Would not want to go overboard and end up making it to airy of a draw especialy if it is a rare gem like an Empire one that can be hard to come by.

Good call, I'll slowly start boring out the hole little by little and hopefully that'll do the trick. And alas it's not an Empire DS, but rather a delrin type DS
