Hello guys,
I purchased 2 terminators with the idea that I'd use one in a tank and one as a dripper. A lot of the descriptions seem to indicate the terminator is a 'dripping atomizer in a tank'. Well, the TT i have in the tank is awesome, my new daily tank, however as a dripping device i feel like i am missing the point.
I've tried dripping before on my vivi nova and I felt like I was missing the point there too. I'm confident I must be doing something wrong.
So on the TT, I drip a few drops in the tube and thats where the first of my problems start. The liquid gets caught in a center divider and seems to not want to flow down. That's an easy fix. Once it flows down, I can take a few hits and everything is fine however, it just seems like such a pain.
After I take a few hits of 'flavor 1' I drip some unflavored juice but it just mixes with whats in there and it takes a while to get rid of the previous flavor.
I'm hoping that this atomizer is not well suited for dripping despite the descriptions of it being a 'dripping atomizer in a tank' and that a dedicated unit would provide better results? I'm considering getting the smoktech octopus RDA. I make my own flavors and i'm looking for an easy way to test out different flavor combinations quickly.
any input on my technique or recommendations for a cheap RDA for my needs would be highly appreciated.

I don't really like dripping (though an iGo-L is in my future), but I use my bridgeless 306 for testing new flavors all the time. They come bridged, but I just cut it out with some wire cutters. It perfect for testing; when I want to drip a new flavor I just blow out the excess into a paper towel. If you blow it out good and then do a quick dry burn you should have little to no flavor left over.

This looks like a decent deal. Where ever you get one, just remember to get Cisco spec and you'll need a 306 drip tip.

The ST Terminator and the Vivi Nova are not really devices people would typically call dripping atomizers... they are meant to be tank fed which is why it's such a hassle to drip with them.

Usually when people use the dripping method they are using rebuildable tankless dripping attys, or the old school disposable 510/306/901 whatever attys. Dripping became popular back in the day because the technology at the time sucked, getting juice to feed well into the atomizer from the cartridge was a hassle. So people just dripped juice directly onto the atomizer, giving better performance because of more juice getting to the coil.

With today's technology the only real advantage is the ease of switching flavors compared to tank-fed systems if you are using the old standard attys, and if you are using rebuildable dripping attys you can build a coil that will vape better than anything factory workers in China put together.

The ST Terminator's selling point was that you could replace disposable cartos in standard carto tanks with this rebuildable device. Some people don't like the flavor of carto filler, so that's another plus for the terminator. When people say it's a dripping atty inside a tank, it's really not. It's just a rebuildable atomizer meant to be fed via tank. What they probably mean is that you get performance more matching to a dripping atty, but in something you can easily stick in a cartotank.
