How can you vape in the car using an 808??? Is it possible? I know you need a car adapter for the lighter thingie...what else do you need??

For the passthrough I would suggest a 5v or 5.1v 1.5-2 amp adapter. That is what I grabbed. The normal car usb adapters don't put out enough juice to fire fully. The adapter I bought for the car is a fast charger and puts out enough juice.
I don't know what Rob's adapters are but if they are in the 808 section I would imagine they are for use with the 808.

Okay, I have a 5.0volt TAS adapter, 2000 mah, would that work.......and how is this all to be set up.......put the adapter in the car lighter thingie........then??
yup I just got from harbor frieght today a usb that plugs into the cig liter
and its 500ma but the passthru fires ok but not like in my computer.
a 1000ma would be nice but thats about 30 bucks compared to 5 bucks I spent today.
but still 500ma gives better vapor and TH then any batt. ive used.
But my batts are 280mah

okay, lets see if I can get this right.......plug the car adapter into the lighter slot......on the side of the car adapter has a USB connection?........then you connect the USB charger 2AMP, 5 volt to the 808 usb PT to that connection. Sorry, I am so inept at electronic stuff......I think I think on the opposite of the brain (creative). Is the PT long enough for the driver to vape?? Or do I need something to go between?

Sorry but I do not have the adapter that you need.
The one that I stock only works with 510 PT's
This adapter is what you need,. but one that is rated for 1300mah or so
The one I stock is only rated for 500mah.
I will try very hard to stock the right one soon.
Ebay might be a place to look.

the 1.2amp I have works decent. You definately need more than most usb adapters will put out. They sell different ones online for decent prices. I got some usb wall adapters and some usb car adapters from TAS as well and have been enjoying them.
As long as the cig plug adapter says OUTPUT >= 5v and >= 1.2 or 1.3 amp you should be good. I would recommend what ever Rob recommends.
You will not need an extension for your PT for the KR808. It has a long enough cable. If it isnt long enough you can find a USB coupler some where for cheap. As long as you don't buy the first thing you see you should be able to find a deal.

I got mine at TAS also OUTPUT-DC 5V 2A max for 1st port, DC 5V 1A max for the 2nd Port....it is a dual port.

You need one of these and your car adapter

or
White
USB Passthru Sealed for 901 w/ manual switch
(The link says 901 but they are for the KR-808 and will work with 901)
The only other thing you need is KR-808 cartomizers
Personally, my 808's last me about 5 to 6 hours on a charge, and unless you're driving a long distance, I would think you could just use your regular batteries...
Maybe a PCC would work out nice for you. That way, you would always have one on the charger if you need one. Just a thought,,,,

But in relation to a 280 mah batt. I think its better so ill use it in the car.
at radio shack they want 30 bucks and up for the real deal.
for that kind of money I just orderd a 901 kit from Rob.
as time goes on I will get the higher rated one, for now im just trying to keep off the analogs, so kits and liquid is what im getting.
