GOOD NEWS..i fixed the threads on the RSST tank perfect,it was a little tuff,i just worked it into the Natural Mod top cap slowly and steady,i knew i could not
strip any threads by doing this fix because the RSST fit the Vamo and my
other Mods and the other all the other tanks fit on the Natural. So it had to
fit with out stripping, make sense?..anywho, i had too plan this,i duct taped
the top cap and the RSST tank bottom and used 2 visegrips, this way i
cushioned them so i would not scratch or crush any parts.I just kept working the
tank in slowly and making sure for no stripping, worked PERFECT,now too drill out the air hole:matrix::matrix:

The tank is on:

I had an AC9 that had poor threads. It wouldn't screw into the mod I wanted to put it on. My solution was to buy a die, and re work the threads. The correct thread size for 510 is 7mm x .5. I found one on Amazon, re worked the threads, and it screwed onto the mod perfectly.

I looked everywhere around my city for that size die but not too found,i read on this site some guy did what i explained but he didnt go into detail, it wasnt really easy working that tank in with damaging the finish on the Mod and tank and the threads, but i persevered and did not quit. Also didnt want too pay for a tap/die set,it would cost more than the 22 bucks i paid for the RSST.

Yeah, my die and handle was about $20. But I figured it would be a good tool to have, in case the issue ever came up again. So far, I've used it a couple times. Recently, I cleaned up the threads on my DID, because I didn't like the way it threaded on my new Poldiac.
