Band Aid fix for stripped Vamo thread - It worked

Have been suffering from stripped thread of my Vamo V5 for some time. Today I tried cutting a thin strip from a band aid and sticking it inside the 510 treading on the Vamo. It worked like a charm. My kayfun lite clone screwed in perfectly. No wobbling. Sheer luch may be. Thought of sharing with everyone. Do try and let me know if it works for other Vamo's with similar issue.

I've used teflon pipe tape on the threads of my Vision Vivi Novas. I wrap twice around, then trim off the excess at the bottom with a scalpel.

Now, if only I could find an easy fix for failed "fire" buttons on Vamos. I have two Vamos sitting in the "parts" bin because of that frail "fire" button. And I have a third one which will shortly join those two. (I'm saving the busted Vamos on the theory that I could eventually make a wooden mod using the guts of the Vamo plus a decent "fire" button.)
