Hello All,

First off, im a newb, so its your typical questions im sure your all tired of answering. Ive been reading for days about the right e-cig to buy. Ive got it down to two of them. both the same models. just two different versions of each. I want the Joye eGO or the Joye eGO-T. im pretty sure i understand about the cart vs the tank. but am a lil confused about the batts? are they the same? do the eGO-tank batts come manual or automatic? explain this diff please. manual has a button with no turnoff? also. when i search the eGO-T i also get T.W. Tornado Tank? whats the diff between a Joye eGO-t and tornado tank? pros n cons of both please.

Best place to buy a eGO-Tank from? totally wicked? cignot? cignot desription says eGO-T has safety shutoff Batts, whats this? cignot seems pricey, however got good reviews in the forums.

I appreciate everyones answers. the more you help me, the sooner i can say goodbye analogs and hello ecigs!

I believe the EGO-T and Tornado are the same just different branding. I cant answer whether or not the tornado tank kit comes with the safety shut off batts or not. Its a safety feature press the button 5 times and you can shut the battery off for travel. Another 5 pushes turns it back on.

Cignot prices are a little higher but their customer service is top notch. They have always sent out my order the same day that it was placed and I receive it within 2 days. I guess there are 2 versions to the tank a v1 and v2. Cignot I know has the V2 which fixed some of the kinks. I just ordered my EGO-T last wed. received it on Fri. and have vaped all wknd with no issues.

liberty flights does have good prices and I have seen several people recommend them but they are currently sold out of the EGO-T. They do have a special EGO ECF kit that you could order and you can always just add the Tank later. They can be used on the EGO battery. I think the only difference in batteries is the EGO-t batteries have the safety shutoff feature. Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo 2nd kit down $39.99 There is also the Riva light bundle for $29.99 (parts are interchangable w/EGO) http://www.liberty-flights.com/product.asp?id=55

Cynderbelle has it in that the safety battery is a 5-touch on, 5-touch off for the battery. Personally, I have never had any use for it, but I guess it is helpful for certain situations. There is also a plastic switch guard which keeps the button from being pushed into the "on" position accidentally.

As for the difference between the eGO and eGo-T they use the same batteries but different attys and carts. I have several eGo batteries as well as a few tank attys and tank carts, some standard 510 attys and carts, and some mega attys and mega carts. Pretty interchangeable system.

Cignot or most of the Forum Supplier vendors on EFC are pretty good. I have used Cignot, FreedomeUSA, LF, many times. Be sure to check if there is a coupon code for anyplace that you try. There is a master list, sometimes on-line coupon codes, and many places are currently running Presidents' Day sales as well (check the supplier forums).

Enjoy!

Price differences sometimes have more to do with their warranties. The tanks are so new they can have leaking, burning, wick problems. Since you are a Newb, I'd start with atomizer/carts/drip tips and cartomizers just to get going and maybe get a tank atomizer in the next generation. Order some good ejuice and try dripping and using cartomizers on the go to find your sweet spot. The eGo batteries work with any of them so you are not wasting money. The tanks really mute the flavors and as a Newb you want all the flavor you can get to keep you off smokes. If you like menthol that at least does come through on the tanks.

The shut off is good if you keep you ecig in a pocket or purse or use it in bed, so it doesn't go off by accident. It's also new and called an eGo T battery but other than the shut off and 1000's being available vs 900s in the larger sizes they all work with 510/eGo/eGoT accessories and chargers

Just MHO. Welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy ecigs.
