Bottoming out Lithium batts is a bad idea. They prefere to be recharged when partially charged. In fact, if the 510 batt wasn't protected and you brought it all the way down, it likely would not charge back up again.

Hey Trik_Ster,

Some info on Lithium batteries from BatteryUniversity.com:

"A lithium-ion battery provides 300-500 discharge/charge cycles. The battery prefers a partial rather than a full discharge. Frequent full discharges should be avoided when possible. Instead, charge the battery more often or use a larger battery. There is no concern of memory when applying unscheduled charges."

Yeah lith is a new beast
I have 3 decades of habit to overcome
All the gadgets and contraptions made and used over the years to burn life back into nicads
And just making sure you took them down before bringing them back up

homemade pulse chargers, etc

So I'm in initial investment phase, The Screwdriver... worth giving a limey money? (I say that with a wink)

all i can say...is my first purchase was an eGo...arrived in the mail yesterday...i love it. (people the Riva right up there with it) the 2 batts that come with a starter kit charge in 3 hours...which is way less time than it takes to kill one.

BTW, I wonder when the limeys 'el make a "spanner" mod, as they have no wrenches.;) lol

I did order a eGo Mega from a place in China
Big ... battery
When it gets here I'll give a thumbs up or down

I've had 5 cigarettes since my first 510 arrived
Lit 3 of them out of habit

I'm a 3 pack a day guy
This is unprecedented
