Hi,I'm from kansas and always been interested in e-cigs but never liked the looks of the ones I used to see(white w/ tan tip and super long lol) but my fiance ordered the 510 and it piqued my curiosity so I sent off for one( black manual 510) from cignot and I've had maybe 7-8 analogs in past 4 days and LOVE vaping!! This forum is EXCELLENT with tons of info and great ppl....
I did the roll your own thing and been smoking for 25 years usually a pack a day.I lit up last night and can't hardly stand the taste of them .uggh
So thanks to all for the tips,lessons,reviews,etc.......this e-cig thing cleared the skepticism out of my mind real quick!!

Welcome to the forum!!! I am pretty new maybe vaping for a month and a half, But just gave up analogs , so far it has been a real learning curve for me, But with the help of this forum they have made painless for me.

Sounds like your off to a great start! Don't be discouraged if you hit a bump in the road, though. Just ask around. Chances are good that someone around here has had the same problem, and knows how to fix it.

Hello and welcome! I didn't want an e-cig that resembled a real cigarette in appearance either and was concerned that the length would be kind of awkward for me. I ended up purchasing a couple of Shorty manuals from Vapor4Life and they've been working out well for me. I like that they have multiple colors to choose from too. :0)

That's where I'm a bit different, I wanted one that somewhat resembles a cigarette. If I get the pink or the blue or any other attention drawing color my kids will take them (effing mockingbirds if you ask me) and hide them, and most likely break them as they did with my iTouch and various other expensive "toys" of mine. So I have a Vapor King in white to kinda look like a cigarette, but not completely. My kids learned a long time ago (well all but my 15 month old) that you don't mess with mommy's (or daddy's) smokes.

Although I did purchase a purple manual battery and pink atomizer earlier today which I think I am going to use mostly when my kids are in school (it will be my only manual) and hide that stuff when they are anywhere in the house (they'll find it anyway).

Now if I can only find me an Orange 510 battery hmmm.

Its kind of interesting how after just being off cigs for a few days and trying to light back up again can change your taste buds. I tried lighting back up myself and had to put the cig out cause it made me gag. Now the smell of someone who smokes gives me a headache. I can not believe that I allowed myself to smell like that. Its really gross when you think that you and everything you owned smelled that bad. But its good that your getting off after 25 years. I didnt smoke that long and it was hard for me. But grats!!! Completely agree there Tinka! I work at a truckstop and now I think the truckers just reek of smoke most of the time... sometimes even if they are freshly showered I can still smell it on their clothes. I'm just so excited to have cleared up the senses to enjoy the beautiful weather we're having right now

Oh yeah, and welcome featherpaint, you sure are cute... 9/10/10 (he's my betrothed, heh heh)
