Yeah, one shaped like a mushroom. The rather sharp edges on the buttons really wear on the fingers and it gets to actually causing such discomfort that I have to switch the way I hold it to use other fingers or a thumb.

Anyone know if Rob is working on somthing like that? I'd order one if he made them and put them on his site.

Dogzlife sent me a couple of these, and they are fabulous! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...uick-thoughts-my-first-reo-2.html#post3089236 I especially like the ease with which I can lock/unlock the button/switch

One thing I learned after about a month of using my first Mini, I was mashing the button too hard. If your switch has noalox, and you are getting a good connection, it really only takes a small push of the button to make contact and fire the atty.

If the delrin button could be tapped then you could always screw a soft release on.

For anyone who doesn't know a soft release is a screw on button that photographers use to more easily fire their shutters. It screws into the shutter release... Here are a few pics... It's the only non black thingy in the photo...

I agree, I was pushing the button too hard. Nevertheless, I still don't like the sharp edges so I got up with Dogz and we are going to swap four of his button covers for some juice. I'm pretty sure I'll like the soft rubber better than the small hard plastic. I'll report back on this thread when I get them to say how I like them.

Thanks for all the pointers guyz. UR the bestest!

I received the button covers today from Dogzlife and mlinky is right, they are fabulous! IMHO Rob should sell these or include them with the Grand and minis. They are a perfect size & fit.

I thought about what I said above about pressing the button too hard but sometimes I guess I unconciously think that to get a good connection and hit, I have to give it an extra hard push. That may be true if I haven't serviced it in a while with Noalox too.

Whatever it is, my usual button finger hurts in several spots and the rubber button covers solves that. It spreads the pressure across a much larger area of the finger and besides that, it's a soft touch. The cover grips the button well so that it actually takes a pull and a couple wiggles to get it off.

Perfect!
