Obviously everyones going to be biased here, lol =] but the two (strawberry) cheesecakes ive tried from other vendors pretty much tasted just like strawberry..

Is there crust at all in your guys flavoring? i would love that. Is the flavor..in this case strawberry, the dominant flavor or is the cheesecake? or equal? and lastly, is this a subtle flavor? sp far your guys flavorings have not been subtle, which i love.

So far tried the caramel popcorn and tasty finger which i really liked..the almond horn not so much. but at a 2 out of 3 ratio, thats the best out of any vendor ive tried so far! lol

also, what flavors did you find good with your cheesecake? not a fan of blueberry.

thx for any opinions

EDIT: side question, what day and time does TV change their specials?

I have a problem with fruit flavors overpowering anything they are mixed with, so when I ordered my last blueberry cheesecake I asked them to go light on the blueberry. It's perfect for me this way. You may want to order the same way. I've only tried the blueberry cheesecake, so maybe someone else will chime in with suggestions. I know I've read reviews for most of the fruit cheesecakes, caramel, chocolate, coffee, pretty much anything you desire. Search this forum and see what you come up with, you won't be sorry if you like cheesecake. I don't taste any crust, but others have said they can.

Geoff changes his specials on Monday.

markimars raspberry brandy cheesecake is awesome!!!!! mostly raspberry with a hint of brandy and then the cheesecake. rich creamy cheesy, just enough sweet cheesecake with a hint of crust.

the pumpkin spice cc i boo boo'd on. BUT its still awesome, more so now that its aged and mellowed out. i asked for the ps to be added at the same strength as blueberry would be...just a tad too strong then. but now its a perfectly balanced pumpkin spice creamy delight... can taste the crust on this one too occasionally

I can surely taste the crust in my CYO of strawberry, buttercream, cheesecake. Unfortunately, the flavor just isn't working for me. Way to sweet and weird aftertaste. I order a lot of TV juices and this is really the only one that I just can't do. Gives me a headache. Oh well, live and learn! My favorite is Vanilla custard, buttercream, cupcake:)

do you sweeten your cheesecake? cause i find mine are quite sweet without the sweetener... and pralines and cream (another sweet liquid that i didnt need to sweeten, yet i did) gave me the headache and aftertaste for 3 months...

i took your suggestion! i asked them to put the flavor of the crust on par with the cheesecake flavoring too.. with light caramel flavorings so its more in the background but still tastable.

hope it turns out good >.<

Yes, I did sweeten. Maybe I shouldn't have but I'm not sure that would account for the funky taste:(

I've got a bottle of the plain, it's fabulous. Any of TV's cheesecakes are great really

Glad to hear that...I went ahead and ordered it yesterday - I have some TV doubler samples I got awhile back in a co-op that I haven't used, so I thought I'd try them with it, too.

I keep hearing great things about the blueberry cheesecake, but I also ordered blueberry pie, so didn't want to do that.

Thanks!

Hello all...
I just received my 1ST two bottles of TV. The one bottle I received is banana cream, butter rum and tobacco. And let me tell you..I picked a winner.. But on my other bottle(the one I was most looking forward to) is almond carmel cheese cake. The thing is I taste nothing but amaretto. Is that the cheese cake? Im thinking it was a mix up and someone seen almond and accidentally put in amaretto..
Just wondering if anyone else thinks their cheesecake taste like it has amaretto in it.
im new so I thought it best to ask here..

Thanks all..

i have plain cheesecake and it's fabulous -- absolutely no amaretto taste at all (i *hate* amaretto, btw!).

thats the almond flavoring. the new almond tastes like marzipan. a strong potent almond. amaretto is a strong almond liqueor.... hope that helps. and none of my ccs from tv have ever had any alcopholy taste to them apart from the raspberry brandy... and thats supposed to. its probably just the almond :( ETA the cheesecake for most people needs at least 2 weeks steep time
