Hi All,
So I have had my eGo for over 2 months and the batteries are still going strong. I tend to vape very heavy and one battery is losing a little time from when I first had them. Its my second one from the kit. The first one that I started with is still going very strong and not giving into my usageat all.
I lose about 1 to 2 hrs off the second battery though. I will chain vape for like 1 hour. Constantly filling the cart up and filling it up.. The only time I do put it down is when I let my dogs out in the morning (cause I have to do the "pick-up" chore) and then back to vaping. At times through out the day I tend to be lighter on my batteries. Not much though. So, as of today, from my first battery I still get a good 8 to 9 hrs of heavy vaping. My second battery I get 6 to 8 hrs (again depends how heavy I vape on it) of heavy vaping.
Not bad as I switch them out once everyday. :thumb:
Lets say I start @ 6am. I will go until 2 or 3 pm on my first battery then start on my second and re-charge my first. @ Around 9 to 11pm Iwill switch again and start with my first and charge my second.
If I go to bed @ 1 or 2am and up @ 3, 4 or 5am I won't start righ away. but it avg's out to one charge per batt per day.
I am VERY happy with my eGo still!!:thumb:

So how are the rest of you doing??

Out of my original two with the kit, one died and was replaced. Both were manuals and they had a slight drop off in battery time..Then i lost one of those in the snow last week... i've looked all over for it, i'm sure its out there laying dead somewhere. I have 2 autos and one just died today. I still love the 2 egos i have that are not lost or dead, and i guess i'll be ordering a few more this week. I started out with 401 and 510 and i will not go back! haha.. the ego batteries cost double of those and they are worth it.

I've had mine for a month and half...still going strong...but then I rotate among all my devices. I'm loving cartomizers on it more and more...and when the Telsa filter comes out I may give up all of my other devices.

OH that darn filter needs to come now :p

I had my ego for over a month still running as strong as ever

Mine is still going strong and I have put up all my other devices. I like it so much that I ordered a second one from Dietsmokes on Sunday and got it on Tuesday.

It's the only device in my arsenal now. I still can't believe these are 650 mah. PreeGo I would go through 4 14500 batteries a day....

I had a problem on one of the two battery after a month. So i send it back and i receive a new one. The battery life, after two months, of the new and the original are equal. I have a little bit of plastic which is broken on the button of the old one.

(Sorry for the poor english language , not my native tongue ;) )

btw, I have receiving the RY4X tonight , and i am vaping it now , it's great ! :)

I would not be surprised that some batteries are going to poop out sooner than later.. and of course there will be defects... but the hope is that since these batts charge lasts longer than the normal ecig batts... that would mean less charging =longer life.

I just don't want people to be upset at the ego if it only lasts a few months... because that's just the nature of the beast. :D

I agree . . . if I get 3 months (the warranty period) of good use out of a battery, I'll consider it a success . . . anything more than that would be a gift. I'm fully prepared to buy another battery or two every 3 months without even a word of complaint or reproach.

I agree.

Apparently though, according to Stubear Ethan @ Janty has stated that the batteries for the eGo are covered by a 6 month warranty instead of the standard 3 month warranty other batteries get. That makes the eGo a win in my book. A few batteries every 6 months to a year would be fine by me.

I think everyone should have anything from one back up battery to another starter kit just so they aren't left in a lurch if one of the batteries does fail. I can get by on two batteries easy but if I were left with one I'd have to dig out some old gear.

It's amazing how far things have come in just the past year! Now, if someone could just make an atomizer that lasts....

I'm just short of 2 months on my original 2 batteries and they're running great..the atty however has godden a little sluggish and I've tried cleaning it..it'll be good for about 2 days and then get sluggish again..but it won't die to cover it under warranty..lol
I did manage to order some low Ω atties today and we'll see how they do on the eGo when those come in..I'm expecting them to be fantastic..
I must confess though that I did get a new mod this past Sat so I've been having that new device tinkering thing going on so the eGo has been a little neglected..but when I go back to work in about a week it'll be the eGo that I take with me..

Ok...I fold. We ordered 2 manual batteries, received two autos instead. Really needed something better than the 510 batts we had so kept em. They both died within 3 weeks. Got two manual replacements under warranty, one of those is dead. So 3 out of 4 dead batteries in 5 weeks. I'm sure Ethan would replace the dead manual, but I'm over it....
