eGo Issues after 1 month

First I'd like to say I love my eGo. It's my main vape. However:

I've had the eGo a little over a month now. Last Saturday both batteries died within hours of each other. Put them on the charger, the light turns green almost immediately, but they die as soon as you press the button. I ordered two new batteries and 2 chargers from Janty USA and submitted a ticket.

I got the chargers and batteries yesterday. The first thing I noticed was the new batteries had no switch (button) on them! I don't have a clue what they would work in, but not the eGo. I then tried to charge my old batteries. One charges OK, but the other will not charge (light stays red). So now I am stuck with 1 original charger that's bad, 1 original battery that's bad after a month (and maybe 20 total charges), 2 new batteries that can't possibly work, and no response from JantyUSA to my ticket. I submitted another one today, so we'll see if anything happens. I'm out nearly $200, got no customer service, have one working battery, and am not a happy camper.

If you bought from Janty, it is under warranty. If you bought from somewhere else, you are out of luck. Janty will make it good.

It sounds to me like you received the Auto batteries on your 2nd order. The manuals come with a button and the auto's do not. You just put your atty on an auto and inhale, no button to push to activate it.

If you have an open ticket with Janty and it has been a FEW days since you submitted it just send them a reminder. Janty has always been very good at taking care of their customers. I can understand it is annoying. In the mean time try the Auto batteries, in the long run you may even like them better.

Dudeman: You're right-- they are auto batteries. I didn't even know there was an auto version of the eGo. I don't remember seeing that version when I originally ordered mine. Maybe I just missed it because I don't normally do auto....

sherid: I bought the eGo from JantyUSA. I'm not worried about whether they're warrantied or not. The problem is apparently the only way to communicate with them is by a customer service ticket. If they don't reply to it, what are you supposed to do? Judging by the forum on the Janty website, they have some definite communication issues.
