I live in Binghamton, Rochester is a 2 1/2 hour drive. (roughly).

What do you guys think? I'm totally crossing my fingers that it'll be here tomorrow, although I've already resigned to tuesday.

Be sure to have some pyramid tea bags to mod your carts Sallana. This is the cart mod I switched to recently and I think it works best. The flavor and vape you get from the PTB mod is rich and thick.

I'm probably opening a can worms by asking this, but that's not going to stop me.
My kit (510) arrives with 5 pre-filled cartidges (Marlboro flavor I believe). My plan is to mod the cartridges using the straw method and fill with the VG juice that's supposed to arrive with it. I've watched the video on youtube about the tea bag mod and am a little confused if the experienced users here think one is superior to the other, or if it's essentially the same results and up to personal preference? If you use the tea bag mod can you still add a small stirring stick straw for the benefits of air flow and improved wicking, or is there some property about the tea bag paper that makes the straw interfere with the process?

...to further complicate and confuse matters I just read the thread on the blue foam stuffed in a 2mm straw mod. Just when I thought I had all my plans set for cart modification too.

Addi, I suggest instead of the straw method, try the BFD method. I have tried most of the mods, and love this one...Was constantly having to top off carts, but now I can get a couple of hours of vaping without having to refill

As far as mods go, I have just tried the PTB mod after the blue foam mod....

I am not sure if I did the mod right (I just cut the tea-bag material to the right length, not bothered with folding ends over just rolled it, and put it in a cart... Have not refilled yet and been vaping on it all day.....

I was still toping off regularly with the blue foam mod..... Also as the paper (or whatever it is that tea-bags are made of) is used for making a product for human consumption (Tea) then I am happier with it than using a material for filtering fish sh... cr.... effluence


I get a lovely vape, lots of it and good flavour as well...... hope this helps...

Thanks for the thoughts, BlueBlooded. I just went out and purchased some "fish crap" foam from a pet supply store. I guess I just need to stop asking questions and plow ahead (510 is supposed to arrive today). If I don't like a mod I'll move on to another...trial and error, until I find what works best for me.

The important thing for me (and a few others on this thread) is that I'm finally taking that long overdue scary step to rid myself of analogs. Whether it's with the spring mod, or BDF, PTB, or the other million acronyms I read about here is secondary.
