Singapore is pretty strict. I have no idea what the legal system is like there. Can you get an attorney?

Looks like they hand out fines.

But looks it's fairly rare to prosecute.

From 2011 to date, HSA has prosecuted eight persons for selling e-cigarettes.

I believe vape gear will confiscated at the airport if "them powers that be" find it on you on entry.

Oy. I'm sorry to hear that. But, it sounds more like a fine situation that prosecution, I mean it was for personal use? I would think they only prosecute those who are being vendors and import a lot of equipment. But that still totally is awful, and I'm so sorry you have to hire counsel on top of everything else. Sigh. I wish you the best of luck, keep us updated. I hope it turns out way better than the worst case scenario you probably have in your head right now....

...this is what can happen in countries where vaping is illegal.
It's heartbreaking.
